I say just keep on playing,or do exercising or go jogging maybe?I find jogging to relax me and stimulate me more than anything.Ever jogged at 5am?Try that,it's so quiet and everything around you is dead still,just you and the darkness.Then come home after about an hour and a half and drink some tea or coffee,nothing beats that,NOTHING on this planet.
And if you don't want to do that or consider it boring,then try something you know can become a hobby,but try to keep epicduel in the background,this will make it so the game still remains fun for you,but you don't over do yourself.
@Mirr,this is the epicduel community.On youtube there is also a video making community for all AE games.This includes epicduel,even if they didn't create it.In various categories there are ''famous'' people on youtube.500000 views is just some number you sucked out of your thumb.I myself started making aq videos early 2008 and i now have over 300000 views.I consider myself famous or a legend in the aq category.
Shortly i'll be adding epicduel videos to my collection.And just a little info for you or anyone that reads this.In all AE games there's some or other popular player that everyone refers to as THE UNCHALLENGED LEGEND.This is normally one of the first players that made videos for that particular game,these players aren't the best but still get all the views,just their luck.Let me name a few in their respective games.
In EPICDUEL there's xendran.He's not the best,but because he used the heal loop build without the agility drawback,he defeated various strong players and is now considered the undisputed legend in the game,obviously it was overpowered and really made his opponents much easier,but there you go...
In ADVENTURE QUEST there's zeruel,he was the first person to use the black face in his videos and killed a monster that was suppose to be unbeatable,he stole his idea from another popular player and uploaded his video quicker than the other player to obtain all the glory.I myself have accomplished various feats and i'm much better than him.But because he's zeruel he is considered better.
In AQWORLDS there's xyo.Yet another person that uses sony vegas well and has cool techniques which makes his videos appear legendary and ads to people calling him the best.In this game however any player can call themselves the best but i rest my case.
So there you have it,the amount of people who watch your videos do not make you a legend in any AE game,nor does the amount of hype you get.It's the actual feats you accomplish.
Frostlich is very good and i can almost call him a legend for his category,iv'e heard his name a lot and searched his videos up,he's good in my books yes.Several epicduel players can take the no1 spot.Xendran isn't one.
Xendran has something in common with players like vendetta,zeruel,xyo etc...They were all made famous because of a single person that found their videos early on,this was a period when not many higher lvl players have uploaded videos,therefore these videos appear better than anything people have seen.
This is a snowball effect,these people then call other people and before long these people have 1000s of views and their videos have been searched by so many people that they gain all the searches and instant fame.That doesn't make them legendary or the best.It just makes them lucky.
Often,the gems are hidden in the rough...You want true legends?Check out videos by players such as illuminator96 or khannibal etc.Then come back and tell me if a xendran vid was better in any way.It simply isn't.Word of mouth often make people popular,same case here with epicduel.
Fay beee deserves a mention too,first person with 100k wins and her attitude in game and out of game is outstanding,another legend for sure.So there it is,my posts are long,but they tell it like it is [:D]
