A good build is not high % or quick wins. It's easy to do both of those with very generic builds. A good build is a well thought out and creative build that you don't see often that loses and wins at a normal rate.

When you have a back-up plan to another back-up plan.

Not overly possible with some STR builds.

Not sure what you were trying to get at there but ok....

All depends on whether you want a cheap build with cheap wins or whether you want to be a little creative.

Both a cheap build or a more creative one can be effective.

A good build is one that is able to get a reasonable win % whether that be fast or slower kills.

The more aggressive players need their fast kills to feed their power hungry needs.

I find that generally peoples builds reflect their own personality.

A good build is one that you feel comfortable with and has the requirements to overcome most (not all) of the different class builds with a bit of luck on your side.

Wandering Guardian -> RE: What makes a build good (2/28/2011 20:45:10)

The build itself has some points towards it's own effectiveness, but at the end of the day an attack strategy is only as good as the strategist behind it. You can give one person practically any kind of build and they can, if strategic, figure out a way to make it work.

Aside from that, LUCK is also another large variable to consider.
