And i dont want to say it but i cant stop my self :D (general post is kind of off topic but its like part of my previous post)

Mercs are still Oped in 2vs2 , If you look all time 2vs2 leaderboard you will see 14-13 Merc and 1-2 Mage or BH thats because no other builds can race with Mercs support abuse in 2vs2 and Now they are Oped in 1vs1 Too

Than i ask my self Why i lose time and money with BH and Mage :S

My personal idea(pls dont angry to me ) :
Game was balanced in Beta , Mages do Healloop(high win but slow) , BHs do STR(fast win but normal rate) , Mercs Oped in 2vs2 (support build
Than admins Nerf Healloop because of some greedy Mercs and now what happen Mercs Oped in Both :S

ok str mercs are quite easy to beat if you think about it this is my strat for mages who use high sup loop builds fist if ur first malf, DM,aux,gun merc dead if u go 2nd DM,malf,aux,heal if under 60hp then gun for win

^ Defense Matrix doesn't work anymore...or will be fading away fast as a good stratgey. Most str mercs i see now have the Cyber Shillelagh which is energy damaging. I guess TM will have to revert to Technician.

tbh larcell i havent seen anyone use this cyber shigilith thing ive seen quite a few with celtic mauls and 1 with celtic cleaver but none with cyber sigilith

@Above, Then you have not played the majority part of mercs. Anyways, the new strength mercs are OP'd with wins, but not so much in percentage. Almost all of the strength mercs on the Leaderboard have low percentages save a couple of really smart Founders. Hybrid build mercs can easily take them down, bounty hunters can put up shields, the only class that has trouble with them is mage. This also brings back discussions on buffing mages. So in reality they're not as OP'd as everyone thinks(I'm NOT a strength merc, I'm a hybrid merc with a 98.7% usually and I do not have more than 81 stat points in any stats).

Most Mercs use cyber Shillelagh ( why Nw didnt put an easy name :D) and DM dont work , Mercs will do Stun+berserker or Stun will hit and strike
Its imposible to win them without 1-2 block.And When you open DM you will only make Merc rage in 2nd or 3rd atck so Rage berserker will kill you with or without DM

ok ive just battled beastmo who used the (cba typing name wep) and i tried technician it worked ok but i think i need to use it first turn

^You can win against STR builds( all classes rates are almost same) but the problem is:

while a Mage getting 1 win = a STR BH gets 3 wins = a STR Merc gets 4-5 wins

which makes STR Merc super fast and BHs fast , Mages cant race with them :)

Support/tech requirement on Hybrid Armor sounds fair. Mercs are the least limited build-wise.

With the new weapons you can not win against strength merc builds with that one skill at max because in a 2vs2 a merc had over 150 total strength and it one attack against me he got over 80 points of damage. So again the mage is getting screwed over and only option is defensive fighting having dex at least 120 and very high health. They really need to put a cap on how high strength or support should allow to go.

@ wario: Lots of people (stat abusing builds in paritcular) but even without a "crazy" build I still enjoy the 6/6/6 stats and the 33 dmg that the bunnies offer

Well actually I've been doing better against them. The old Str Merc builds were better. I've won 7 out of 11 battles against Str Mercs in the past hour alone, not too bad IMO.

I increased my Dex to 112 and able to block or limit damage from them before the code and since I raised the Dex so high every 2 battles I won or after beating a strength abusing merc I was forced to type in the verification code then I did not block their attacks and they got bigger damage so to me this seems that ED wants strength abusing mercs to win, so you got to ask why?

Actually the Hp varies from strength build to strength builds. Epicness had 77 Hp with his build while others have 81-137 Hp, that's why people have problems beating strength mercs, they have so many variations, you can't have a designated build for them.

Personally,ever since i bought celtic claws my dex is cranked up to 90 with 10SA and no enhancements.YET...I've been killing off founders str bounties and mercs alike,left right and center hahaha!They all have a common weakness ENERGY.Use it against them.Even if i get smoked i use use my lvl 6 reflex and de buff the next turn...

That=Bye bye lvl32 str founder bounties with 125hp.Your predictable build no longer works on me and i only have 75hp ;DThe only thing i still have problems with are those bloody founder mages that malf and crit deadly aim you argggh!Energy claws with a str build will easily exterminate that problem and even if they have technician or DM i can vary attack types which will always dmg them fast and consistently.

All I can say is Mages had their time, BHs had their time, Mercs have their own time. It's been 2,3 or 4 months(who's counting anyway?xD) of Support builds.
Now it's Strength's time. Just try to enjoy and learn from it. And btw, I'm not a Merc, I'm a BH. So chill, you'll have your own time.

Take a look at the definition of connect (to make contact) so if a skill is a physical attack then it does not matter if it is a regular strike or the strike you use with a skill attack if the strike connects with you and now people will say this is what so and so says but they only tested it in the lab no in a real game scenerio before the % to connect I was able to block Berzerker, Maul and Atom Smasher against the strength abusing mercs with 80 Dex and I tried at 114 Dex and I blocked maybe once or twice that is it. For me they would have to show me the code where it is only specifies the percentage under strike only because if it is in the code where it pertains to just the weapon then it will apply to the regular strike or the skill strike.
