9001WaysToLaugh -> None varium tournaments :O? (3/23/2011 18:25:21)

I made this thread because on the forums (I no longer play ed though I might come back) I've seen many people complain about the costs driving them away from the game because they want to be able to compete with other people but don't want to spend alot of money. I personally think having a none varium tournament once a week or so would help bring fun back to the game :P. The rules in a none var tournament would be simple:
-no varium items
-no robots
-boosters may or may not be aloud depending on the tournament
-no rares to help keep things fair so everyone has a "fair chance"
As this thread is a discussion, what are your opinions on having none var tournaments?

voidance -> RE: None varium tournaments :O? (3/23/2011 18:32:17)

You can already hold a Non-Varuim tournament, you just have to plan/host it yourself. Here is the link, ( Click Here).

I know you can but i'm wondering what people's oppinions are on the topic.

If you plan on doing this allow enhancements and the assault bot. And rares. And boosters. Wow okay...yea too many limitations

Robots can only be gained through luck as a none var which is why it wouldn't be aloud. The problem with rares is they give an advantage over other people who don't have rares. Enhancements are not easy to get as a none var giving some people an advantage over others, though I guess it is one limitation too many. Like I said boosters may or may not be aloud (diffrent tournaments have diffrent rules).

As voidance already said, you just have to plan/host it yourself by using this thread instead. This isn't necessary to be continued. I'm locking this thread.
