Fame is now available on character pages! http://i51.tinypic.com/rcoqcl.png http://www.epicduel.com/charpage.asp?id=Practel You can vote for people once per day, and you can vote for everyone! As of right now, we dont know what this will be used for but titan said there will be news later on about what it is! Do NOT turn this into a "Fame Me thread" that can simply be done through Pms, this is a comprehensive thread to discuss fame. Any posts asking for fame will be deleted. Begging is not allowed in this thread or on the forums in general, so please do not post just to ask for fame. Removed image tags. ~Icy Tagged. ~Ashari

@Cookie Fame allows you to gather more points on your char page, titan said there will be more info later, but as of right now its just a fame button :D

Wow that's awesome! I wonder what the max fame is... I already looked to see if this was on Dev and Mod pages and it is. Just imagine how many they will get.

Clicking your own fame just increases it by 1. For example, i went to http://www.epicduel.com/charpage.asp?id=xendran and clicked and it increased, so there's no limitation on increasing your own fame.

Well I just checked and I don't think there's a limit to how many people you can vote for each day so fame is going to be handed out pretty quickly between people. I have a feeling this is going to to translate into some in-game achievement soon. ;) I guess it's a fun feature. I just hope I don't start seeing "fame plz" all the time now.

Here's the problem. I can vote for myself everyday. That means I will get a vote everyday. This feature could be easily abused.

@The_JK: Actually I'm sure that would fall under the No Referral Links or Begging rules. In any case, directly asking for fame votes on the forums or in your signature isn't allowed. You have your character page automatically linked under every post, so if someone feels you deserve fame then they can vote on your character page if they want to but asking for it will just create unnecessary spam.
