Title says it all. So, which do you like better?
I like health boosters since energy boosters are kinda useless for mages.

I'm a Mage but I say energy. When you need mana to heal, 25 hp might not save you. Use a 25 mana booster and you have enough mana for another heal.

^Οκ, sο what you are suggesting is that when you have 2 health left, u have the chance to heal after a booster. Ur gonna be dead.

But with an extra 25 hp you can withstand another hit, then heal ( rεrοutε).

offtopic: what is it with computers in other countries that won't let me type properly?

Never said I will use one at 2 hp. I use it when needed.

I suppose a tech mage would logically always use health boosters, however an E booster offers a much quicker regeneration of energy though I don't know that it's worth a turn.

As for me, I tend to use health boosters more due to immediate health, however unless I'm using a strength heavy build I usually carry one of each. With an E booster on hand I can counter an EMP or gain an extra field medic. Short Answer: health booster.

both are good i like using them and the help me in battles so i dun know which booster i like more. hmm nvm i made up my mind :energy booster

Yea when i use them(which isnt very often) I tend to use one of each because I might need one for when i get low hp and i might need one if i get EMP'd.

I don't use booster(only with bosses) but I would choose health over energy, just because I'm a mage and have max reroute.

But it all depends which class and build you have. So yea typically mages would go with health. Unless they have some weird caster build with no reroute.

I have never even bought one on principle, but ill say that I hate it when mercs get EMPd and then just use an energy booster.
i know it uses a turn for them but kinda stings when you make your build and someone can negate a big part of it with credits.

Let me rephrase my last post. I absolutely hate boosters but i carry them just for fights that i think i deserved to win such as a fight where a guy with lower support Criticals me several times or a fight where im about to win and the enemy use's two back to back, but other then that i never use so a set of boosters most times last me over 100 fights. But im still thinking they both have their use's so best to have one of each.

Depends on the build I'm using.

With Strength BH build, I'll use only health boosters. For a 5 Focus build, I'll have one of each.

As for which one I used more, definitely health boosters. Energy Boosters are extremely situational, usually just to counter an EMP. Energy Boosters aren't as useful if you're just going to use that energy for Field Medic. That's a full 2 turns spent on healing -- chances are you're going to take more damage than you healed in that time.

Wish i could use 3 health boosters when fighting Big Tuna!!!


I use energy boosters when I have health greater than 40 so i can use another Field Medic. Anything below 40 I use a health booster...sometimes
