If first techmages ruled delta V with thier support build then mercenary started with thier multi/boozka build then
mercanry took over with thier 2 hit kill and bounty with three-four hit kill. what would be next build
would techmage ruld delta V again ? or will bounty take over mercenary and be the rulers.
I would say that it has to depend in the wepons they release and thier stat modifiers are they strong enough do they look good enough
I do think mages will comeout with thier ultimate build for destruction against bounty hunter
if not they will be crushed it mages who have to put a big step in revolotion of battle.

How can we mages do that? It looks im possible but we have to control the merc 2 hit kill even if merc have wasted all thier energy
they can strike and 40+ damage. Same goes for bounties.

Epicduel has realeased weak stuff for mages like asslimination as for bounties shadow arts in which thye have 10% more of hitting a lot of
damage and blocking i think at this rate bounty will take over mercenary by a big diiference also thier is proof by they rate of bounties wins to losses
also Deathkinghtmare has his build which usally kills these bounties but does it really work?

Lol agreed, start like when we had no focus/agility.

Back when mages could use crazy builds without restrictions and they ruled :)

but if we start from now we can see better build chaninging
not when epicduel was created

Legendary 170 HP Xendran Heal Loop Masterpiece.
My Non Varium 154 HP Heal Loop Masterpiece.
A lot of noobs trying to copy the style but ultimately not succeeding.
That build was not THAT overpowered.
You could beat it, but it would take a while.

^ exactly. heallooping was not an overpowered build it just made battles last way longer, and way more fun.

THEY NEED TO UNDO AGILITY AND CHANGE FM BACK.

Like others said, you're lacking in your knowledge of history...

No one here can really tell you about alpha except alpha players themselves... but I can tell you from merge until now.

Bounties Ruled post merger. They used the exact same build bounties use today, as it was a successful build.
There was actually a build stronger than this, but it only caught on with a few players... An Energy Sword + Gun Deadly Aim Strength Mage. (Battle Mage for short) They were the only things the could really get in the way of bounties.

But with developing builds from Xendran, and the lesser recognized Tian Wan, the support build came to a head when Azrael was released. Thus began the Heal Loop era.

Once the heal loop was nerfed, the only ruling build was actually support merc builds and +4 or +5 focus builds. Bounties were considerably weakened each update and thus mages still ruled during this period.

Then, 3 skills were released. By this time players were moving to Bounty Hunters and Mercenaries because Mage builds where nerfed. Mercenaries always had a strength build, and they never just "randomly appeared" but people began to notice them when there was no way to counter them.. Same goes with Bounty Hunters.

Mages only hope for survival now is the use of assimilation.

Mercs must rely on their weapons not blocking.

Bounty Hunters don't have to worry about much. They have the best skill tree in the game. However, being that Mercenaries contain Hybrid... Bounty Hunters usually fall.

So in conclusion:

Although the Stat Abuse issue needs to be addressed, bounty hunters would become the next ruling class unless they were changed as well.

Also just to clarify, Deathknightmare's good against a majority of builds, but he does have a lot of trouble against a Five-Focus bounty and merc, how do I know? I beat him everytime I face him. Also he has now confined to NPCing and doing little actual 1vs1 because, lets face it, his build is terrible against strength mercs.

^ well these days he would also be 2 lvls higher and have about 30 extra stat mods.

thats how they showed achievements before battle tokens and purchasable achievements came out.




@ Lotus(below): achievement/award= same thing, and i know that i was playing when those were still around

Also at one point there was the unstoppable 100+ damage supercharge

The rank is called "moderator" Infern0 was an in-game moderator.

There was no such thing as achievements. They were just called awards. The only obtainable awards were Elite, Founder, 1v1, and 2v2. If you had all four, you were considered a pro.

Here's my history of ED:

Beta Stages and my Level at that time(No Focus or Agility)

Level 1-24: Bunch of stupid noobs appeared who were easily defeated
Level 25-30(Dec-Jan.30): I saw the rise of strength hunters that only had 64 str at maximum and founders never knew how to make good builds which gave me easy wins against lvl 30's when I was level 28-30.
Level 30-31(Feb-August): Mages discovered the heal looping build, mercs and hunters complain. Focus appeared which somehow increased the damage for everyone. Enhancements were given to varium users at that time. I made my own made-up varium hunter and varium merc build in a piece of paper that could actually defeat heal looping mages but I never shared it to the world.

Gamma Stages

Level 31-32(Aug-Present time): Field medic cooldown was increased by 1. Agility appeared and everyone struggled to create a build until some merc tried a support build ranging up to 100+ that could pwn anyone. Everyone resorted to 5 focus and seemed to make everyone mad about this new feature. Enhancements became credit cost, strength hunters once again gained their power through a 125 hp build with an energy gun. Strength mercs also appeared and somehow became overpowered although they get defeated by low level players too by sheer luck. Mages haven't found their good build yet and are still trying to find it.

Conclusion:

It's the builds that are overpowered not the class.

welll at those times xendrans and folders build rages but i dont know at this time now.


Ok tell me something which is better

Bluebird No 1 build fay beee's build Daxs build OR VIX , Wiseman, Epiness build

please dont say any of them change class i am talking about bounty stregth/def build Vs merc rragin streth build.

And if merc have a energy wepon :(

The history of ED. Hmm it goes Alpha, Beta, Gamma, whatever is next. Also Bounty Hunters were the most powerful in the very beginning, Diamond Blades, don't forget Diamond Blades[;)]
