Uhm, I think it would be cool for the forums to have a Spell Check function, thoughts?

I don't think that would be entirely necessary to be honest. Some web browsers have a Spell Check function as standard, such as Google Crome.

Alternatively you could have a note book or word processor like Microsoft Word and draught any post your about to make there, first. It would automatically highlight anything spelled wrong so it could be just copied into the forums.

Another problem would be the use of vocabulary used on these forums. Unless of course the ''AE specific vocabulary'' was excluded, all AE related speech and phases would be continuously highlighted and may start becoming a nuisance. Words for instance such as 'Zard' or 'Moglin', even forum related terms such as 'ArchKnight' mean nothing in the English dictionary.

I don't think all the hassle implementing such as thing can be justified if you could just as easily use a word processor.

Sir Gnome posted this in the Debate Club two years ago, so it may not apply anymore, but I'll drop it here in case it does help.

I would also strongly advise installing a dictionary in your Browser to help spellcheck your posts, for the ease of everyone here.

For Firefox:

Right click in any box where you would input text
Click 'Languages'
Click 'Add Dictionaries...'
Install the dictionary of your choice!

For Opera: Note!!! This is an Alpha version of a browser, so might contain bugs. You install this at your own risk
Go to Opera.com
Products Tab - Opera Browser
Click "Next" which is across from "Tutorials"
Download Opera 10 Alpha.
