I dont know whether to post this into suggestions or general discussion, so I just flipped a coin and done.

Ok so power hour, a new feature, and a cool feature.

BUT... some people like me unfortunately cant battle in these times. In my time zone it is 1-2pm (Im at school doing maths :( unfortunately) and 1-2am (Sleeping is more important than ED). So the only time I have access to a power hour is in the school holidays.

So any ways to make power hour avaliable to Everyone?

I suggest letting the person choose the power hour themselves. This would mean noone misses out on the bonus. And also you can change the power hour time once per week (to make sure no one takes advantage and whenever they log on they change the power hour to the current time.

So:

1.What do you think about the new feature power hour?
2.Do you think 2X credits and 2X exp is too much, too less or just right?
3.Do you think it needs to be changed so some people dont miss out?

Discuss.

I actually have almost the same predicament as you. Yeah, I think players should be able to decide which time power should arrive for them.

I agree, but I think you should only be able to choose your power hour once and then it stays static.

Lol. Mine is at 11-12 AM and 11-12 PM. So... Guess 5 days in a row i'll miss out on the Power Hour.

I agree with this idea.

i think if we get to set our power hours we should pick a time and 12 hours after that is the other power hour

I think the idea of an activation button is awesome. I think it should also work for all levels to be more useful to level 32 players.

OMG OMG same times as me!
But yeah, Power Hours timing sucks for some people. For me, its just Weekends and Holidays. :(

I like the idea of choosing your own power hours But once u choose the hours u cant change it anymore. seem reasonable but my power hours are ok but still i would prefer to choose my own power hours because my power hours are on lunch and 11pm to 12 midnite. seem ok but i rather have my power hours from 7pm - 9pm because it is my allocated gaming time.

I can play with the time frame it is right now, but it would be more convenient to select my own time, though to me it's pretty useless, I'm level 32 and I get absolutely no bonus towards 33.

Atm it says there is Power Hour but i dont get any double exp and credits.

@ thylek: maybe you fought a lower level? If you fight someone equal or lower than you then no double exp.
And yes, I fully support it. Moving it 2-3 hours earlier would be the best. I can never be on except on weekends at these times.

voidance right, they say you get double points(exp) for each battle, but it only works if your going up against someone of a higher lvl than you :-( that makes me a sad panda

Thx for thew info Vitodawn, to bad this isnt in the news.
Here in european summertime Powerhour is between 5-6 twice a day.
Moving it some hours back would be bad for this timezone.
You must see that ED is a global game. ;)

yeah i do agree that power hour need to be fixed before making anything new on it.

I agree by selection of a personal power hour(s) it would be a safety net not only for time zone, but also server lag.

The down side would be players who use experience boost on their own personal power hour might be matched up against a strategist and could use up to 1/4 of their time in one match. With known power hour, players who tend to play more at a passive pace could avoid those times.

For myself, though it has not been working, I will only NPC and 2v2 for consideration for players who are quad boosting.
