It doesn't. Look for "Display topics from last" and change that to All Topics.
For farming spots: When I was your level, I remember questing RA over and over. Now though, there are a few quests that have certain monsters which yield an insane amount of XP and gold. I don't believe they're available at your level though. Also, I don't really like those quests because there are usually cutscenes you have to go through, but they are still very good sources of XP and gold.
