i know this is a pretty stupid question, but how do i change the colour of the tex in my posts?, also, how do i make text in bold?

Not a stupid question at all. Highlight the text you have in mind and then click either the "B" or "color" button, located below the subject field of your post, to either bold or colour your text, respectively.
