@Zachery. There's a difference, we don't hate/dislike the dev's. We hate/dislike what there releasing.
How do you think the paying community feel to pay all this money to be strong, get nerfed & have to pay even more to get buffed. What is the logic in that. IF it was for balance there was no need to add varium to it.

New battle modes should of been done along time ago, lol.
Even if they release it tomorrow there no way they should be busy seeing how long people have been waiting & how long they been taking to do it.

/not flaming, just pointing stuff out.

You guys are being rude....I asked some people around world 7 ...They said they hate the devs for not giving what they promised...

I know what promises they made. Im not mad.. Doesn't anyone understand that the United States is doing bad.. Alot of people live in the U.S the bills are high,prob the devs don't have enough money to help the game...and finish what they promised


EDIT: Im basically saying they have low money to run the game. So no need to complain just do 1vs1 or 2vs2.
I really don't care if i get flamed at. Im just saying the truth. I know that non variums hasn't got any good fit weapons yet.

EDIT 2:... If you quited the game why are you on the Epicduel forums .... Go do other stuff ...like complain on the other forums. If you quit this game then why should you complain?

Zachery, please give us proof that the Dev's really do need money & that there just doing this to keep this game alive for us.

We're not being rude we are stating the facts. "World 7 Oz" isn't inside this forum. I've seen no one say they hate the dev's, they hate what they've done to the release - money based.

People who say "I've quit this game" Propably haven't reason being cause they put alot of money into this game. Nobody wants to waste money like that.

ARTIX owns The whole company... The AE team gives the PAYCHECK to the devs of each game.... Nightwraith and Titan's money that they GOT FROM YOU is to pay for the game.
Can't you understand these times of insanity? The U.S government is shutting down. I rather not complain. I would do what is the best for myself.
i DON'T understand. Your not thinking . None of you. Go see your parent's bills.. It can be very high. Nightwraith and Titan and Charfade has a life. They have to pay their bills. They can't live in cyberspace .. If you don't work .. You get nonthing to pay with. I know one of you are going to complain at the devs. I don't care what you think of me.
I know this game costs alot to keep up. I would just NPC because i can beat marauder with my alt. I don't think you need to be stat wise at level 32 to beat NPCs or level 33..

@Zackary99.I'm going to take that as a joke,the United states has never done BAD.Iv'e got 1 thing to say to you GET OUT[:D]I'm from africa,you're gonna have to be pretty damn good at convincing me that america is doing bad.Iv'e seen the american news and i watch the currencies drop and fall every day,american news might as well be called clown school.In america if the dollar falls by 20c then it's a bad day for america and then all hell breaks loose LOL!!!

They're in no economic troubles whatsoever!They're economy is nice and stable,otherwise you'd be paying almost 12 bucks a pie like we do here in good old south africa.Go to other parts of the world and then tell me america is 'doing bad'.That's a very funny statement.You made my day sir[;)]

The update was as a result of greed,not what you're stating.We'd all like to believe that but it's not true!

Anyways, this game isn't going anywhere. Were not going to get anything we ask for. We pay top buck just make make a stupid number go up slowly. Achievements=useless Factions=useless Tokens=useless Bikes=useless Battling=useless Fame=useless, think about it and this game screams out useless in every feature they've ever brought out.

Just tell them to post the truth as me know it & then it can be dropped.

Ill just disreguard what everyone said and go off the origanal post

Ive been here since Early Beta myself and ive noticed the same things weapons were few and far between so the best rares stayed the best for a long time Frosty, Azurel, Bunnies they were the best for a long time but now the New Frosty quickly replaced as for Azurel's Bane the Saint patricks day cleaver was a combatent to that but it didnt knock it down like Bane did to frosty.

In reality the rares only stay in power until the next set come in and thats only for Varium, F2P's get new gear once in a blue moon and even worse F2P's only get class spefic gear every third blue moon creating a wonderful power rift in ED which we all know and love. While Variums get new swords and class spefic gear at the least every other update and its usally more powerful then the last which leads players who cant or choose not to adapt to shell out more cash into ED to stay winning.

I do like the point about the armors we had Founders and 2 or 3 class realated armors for a rather long time then BT and NW dropped the lv 28 armors which wear all fine and good but now we are getting an influx of unisex uniclass armor removing the origanality behind classes and armors out of the picture along with the abundance of swords and most of the unisex armors coming with helms most every player looks exactly the same the only difference is teh skill tree and most classes use the same skills(IE most mages use the same stay as for mercs and for BH's) which makes this game lack the origanality of when we joined

Well thats all i have to say for now becuase ive forgeten what else you wrote about so i will reread the topic and add more later

I too am dissappointed with the way this game is going, and quite frankly, the new bunnyborg armor is a disgrace, literally the same as space warrioir, just one more enhanement point on each

im here to say as a focus 5 build merc focus is back on top! u should see smackie's build he used beta weps and charfade club. Guess how much stat bonus he got? 74 tech! with 29 dex! even with the wrong skill tree he won every battle.

Please stay on topic.. many of us are stating our views in a non flaming and non trolling way, i suggest you guys do the same..

i do not want this thread to be locked or deleted because of trolling because this is a topic that needs to be heard and our views need to be heard without all this nonsense of "im quitting" or "let ED rest in peace" if you want ED to die and for it to be a true waste of money if it does (Which it wont) then fine, thats your oppinion.. albeit a bad one, im all for listening to others views, but lets keep to the topic here

I think balancing has been done to the point where its starting to get pointless, im sure Titan and Nightwraith have there reasons for them to continue to address the balance, but new things must be focused on for the the good of the game and the fun of the game..

another update to do with balance with maybe a couple weapons or some armor that doesnt have much diffrence or more stat point updates/recductions is of no use and of no fun to us right now.. new features need to be focused on asap to keep the fun of the game alive.. its as simple as that

Im sure Titan has been reading alot of posts and has taken onboard most if not all the things we are saying.. i will not judge his decision right now like so many of you are doing, i dont agree with alot of things that have been done to the game but i will wait to next release to see what happens and make my decision based on that

I while I do not like all this nerfing of skills, it's a teir kind of nerfing, so stat abusing get less effective, so all in all i think that the ED team is heading in the right direction, and while I think that the new bunny armor is near the edge of oped, as long as it is not restocked, then it will remian to a mere few, which makes it not so bad

Very well spoken. Here are my thoughts on the matter at hand:

Weekly Updates: Patches, Bug Fixes, and anything else to improve "functionality" + One or Two Missions

Monthly Updates: New NON-RARE weapons

Major/Seasonal Updates: One promotional offer with one to two weapons coming with the 10k package, 4-7 Seasonal Rares, (A) New Mission(s)

ONCE IN A BLUE MOON UPDATES: New NPC, New Armor, New powerful rare/bike + A Mission or two

Even more than once in a blue moon updates: New areas, Gameplay modes, Faction changes, Class fixes/changes

I'm understanding now why the Dev's are doing this.

From Charfade:
I can say however that all this recent nerfing of all the characters dose seem to have a bit of bad timing in it. Behind the scenes ED has gone though a lot of changes. Before these changes upgrades to both side arms and Aux just weren't possible... even raising the level cap. If the game were ever to grow past level 33, these changes had to be made... same with adding new mission types and the beloved 1v2. Eventually these changes would have to be made if the game were ever to get new features. It just seemed like the changes came out in the wrong order. Not really an excuse for what has happened in recent releases, I dont think we try to excuse or deceive anyone really. Its just the nature of how things happened.

So I'm sorry for saying what I've said. You Titan & Nightwraith need to understand 1 thing though. If Charfade didn't PM me I would be still flaming/trolling what people call it, still. One post from either of you can help the situation at hand & by this can stop alot of things getting out of hand.

Charfade I posted this from the PM you sent me cause it made alot of sense why it's happening. If people read they mind understand like I did. =)

Please stay on topic, guys. We don't need to be trolling and flaming.

Things have changed, some for the better, some for the worse. The only thing constant in life is change, and things have changed drastically since the merger with AE. Titan and Nightwraith are working in the AE buildings, and like everyone else in AE aren't working exclusively on one project. They also have less time to come onto the forums or just chill in-game than they did when they were self-employed. They are not self-employed anymore, and must balance their time between working on exclusively what the players want (which seems to change by the hour, honestly) and what the company wants, and what's going to keep the game from collapsing in on itself (the "functionality" updates).

Also, before you talk about how greedy Nightwraith and Titan are as people, I think it's necessary to point out (again) that the money from EpicDuel does NOT go directly into their pockets- they get a paycheck from the company, like normal employees. So, please stop with the personal attacks, because it's really unfair to them.

I'll also point out that it's a fallacy that you need the best and rarest gear to stay competitive. I use rare gear, sure, but I don't use a rare armour, I switch guns (to include one that's non-rare) and I'm still using my Dragon Bazooka from way back when, in addition to switching it up with (I believe) a non-rare sword. And I'm a mod, who out of everyone is supposed to have the best stuff. I don't even HAVE the bunny borg armor. And I do allright. I lose when people crit me, I win when I crit people, but I do allright. I'm still a competitive player.

Diminishing returns was also a player suggestion for balance from way back in Alpha, so it's something that's had a lot of thought put into it.

What does make sence is why misery still mod. when last time she was on in december that say I think they should lose there right as mod in game. now back to topic

above agree with you but I think titan and NW still goes college that's why not active that's what I think. I could be mistaken by that but who knows.
