Mercenary: omg you poisoned me ughhh *starts losing life* you will pay for that! *use aux and shot*

BOOM

Me: ughh how dare you! *throws stun grenade*
Mercenary: argh *stunned*
Me: *use aux and shot*

BOOM

Mercenary: Prepare to die! *bombard, with max lvl skill*

Boom Boom *explosion* BOOOOM

Me: ugh dang *dies and lies on the floor* X_X

Mercenary: wooooooot! *doing victory dance and leave*

Me: *leave* ... *yawn* im bored... *go to Valestra's lounge* I want beers!
Valestra: We only have energy drinks here...
Me: o.o
...
...
...

Well yeah, lol. Our char get punched, get stabbed, get sliced, get shot, get poisoned or get bombed during the fight and manage to stand up and continue to fight. Looks like we got some kind of superhuman attributs. o_o

So is ED a sci-fi or a mix of sci-fi and fantasy? O.o

He's asking if it's pure sci fi or a mix of sci fi and fantasy. Those are all statements that confirm its a mix between sci-fi and fantasy heck u even said it urself.

Edit: Well seeming as we're talking about the whole it would defiantly be Sci Fi. Sure it has some other elements but the big picture was/is sci fi.

Sci-Fi easily. Armors capable of protecting from bullets, pure energy weapons, and explosions has to be sci-fi. Don't be fooled by the swords and axes. Star Wars has light sabers and is never questioned as Sci-Fi or Fantasy.

Edit: @above I meant that even though Star Wars has light sabers no one ever asks if it's Sci-Fi or fantasy. It's clearly sci-fi since it has flying ships, robots, light sabers, portals and whatever else a sci-fi would have. ED has the same things that a sci-fi game would have and no elements of a fantasy game that I can recall.

I just deleted several posts that were trolling and flaming. Please keep this discussion civil. This isn't the place to insult each other.

Back on topic, Delta V has some "magiscience" feel to it. Bounty Hunters and Mercenaries are technology based, but Tech Mages are no doubt the futuristic versions of wizards, so it's following many RPG elements for its game mechanics.

As for the world of Delta V, there's a lot of steam punk elements in the game, but not much in the field of fantasy. We don't have dragons or any of the other fantasy races, or even anything that would strictly be considered magic. Even Tech Mage skills mostly involve manipulation of electricity or plasma. It's leaning a lot more towards sci-fi. As for the events in ED, they pretty much follows the traditional dystopian future storyline used in many works of science fiction.
