anyway If the old EDF was back as an archive i would look into the suggestions sections and see what ideas have been shot down by the Devs or by the community and see if they made it into the game if they had and it was causeing a problem i would bring it up sorta as an i told you so thing

don't spam, im gonne try keeping this unlocked as long as possible :3

I know a lot of players opposed the merger me included, i still *hate is a big word, but ...* the AEF, though i'm kinda forced here now (where else to go to keep in contact with you guys :D )

so, what do you like more?

EDIT: @ OWA: i changed it, and i didn't really forget, but all i did was invite some people over ther :p

oh well, let's let it rest now, and discuss the topic :)

Before the forum merger I was given personal assurances from the DEVs that the old forum would be accessible and search able. It would also be archived for further use. I also asked if the mail system would be accessible since I have many mail messages that are important to me. I was told it would be.

Since none of that is the case, many important things are gone or inaccessible to all of us. It's very sad that we were all mislead and my hope is that the DEVs will make this right.

I really miss the old forum. It was way better than the Artix forums have ever been. Better structured, more options, so much more info. Never stood a chance of keeping it though. Doesn't matter what they said.

Yes it was about that BB and they closed the voting quickly before it could snowball. ;)

I too was most disappointed to see that all my PM's were gone after it was promised they would remain intact. I am not even sure my posts are accessible.

Anyway I PM'd Titan over a month ago that EDF was down and he said that Captain Rhubarb was going to try to get the old ED forum covered with the AE licence. Haven't heard any update on it =/

i miss using that forums. we had so much for freedom and the format was much more appealing. these forums have to many rules, (alot of them seem unnecessary to me) -but thats just my opinion.
they realy need to get it back up tho. i liked goin on there and lookin thro the old builds

ah, well, the thing is, i used to send members a link of the forum asking them if they want to join, and now every member of the forum is warned for life that if they ever post the name/link of the forum again, they'll get a 1 year abn boh on this foum, and in-game

therefore there's a *

but knowing it's a forum about ED, i'm sure you can figure out what the leter is though


i'm workig on an allowance to post it again though

Spart even if they reopen EDF again they killed the PM system before EDf died which really did mess me up becuase there are lurkers on EDf that i loved to PM but i couldnt do that anymore yet i saw them lurking

The past is the past if we continue to hold onto it we will never be able to move forward. It's better to leave it where it belongs, we have a brand new forum which is 10 times as good as the old one. Let's not forget the Artix forums are more organized and the EpicDuel forums.

I know that the battleon forums will probably never feel as close a home as the old ED forums, but ED GD is for in-game discussion only. If you have any suggestions that could improve the battleon forums, please feel free to do so in Forum Suggestions. Otherwise, I am locking this thread. Please do not revive this topic.
