InceptionAE -> ED part of AE? (4/25/2011 13:42:05)

From what I see in other AE games, the game is usually fair, not too expensive not too cheap, enough weapons for both members and free players. This game is 100% different. Do you guys even see any Non-varium people around?!

This game is a P2P, NOT a F2P.

Agree or disagree?

Thanks for reading.

Angels Holocaust -> RE: ED part of AE? (4/25/2011 13:46:57)

This game has always been a pay to play game. Regardless of what the devs have said in the past. The varium weapons pretty much guarantee an automatic win against a non varium. I don't see how people can even say this is a f2p game, with releases each week c,mon guys lets use common sense and start believing in what we see not hear.

Above you got point

AQWPlayer -> RE: ED part of AE? (4/25/2011 13:53:52)

That's right. The admins have been making releases to balance variums and non variums, but each release only improves the situation for like...0.01%? If they don't make a HUGE change, it's gonna take an eternity to make the game as it should be.

PivotalDisorder -> RE: ED part of AE? (4/25/2011 13:54:53)

Its completely free to play. my bh is in full varium items and it hasnt cost me anything.

One Winged Angel1357 -> RE: ED part of AE? (4/25/2011 14:06:59)

hello over here F2P for well over a year now

I still play, i run a faction, and im always trying to beat the NPC bosses sounds like some variums i know

Guardian Patrick -> RE: ED part of AE? (4/25/2011 14:19:07)

since free players can play ED, it's a f2p game, but you have to be a p2p player to be strong

TurkishIncubus -> RE: ED part of AE? (4/25/2011 14:26:43)

I agree this game is too expansive but i dissagree P2P , today i only lost to a Non varium , some non variums stronger than Varium players.

Deadly PoisoN -> RE: ED part of AE? (4/25/2011 14:59:21)

Iv'e made an entire thread of this,my thread got over 100 replies but broke out in so much flaming that it never got to the point really.So here's a quick summary:

F2p?No,free to lose.
Pay=Win way way more,without having to apply actual skill to battle,those that want to argue me better have a VERY strong case,or i'll blow you to shreds with why you're wrong.

This game isn't for a person that isn't about to pay,cause then you can forget about ever having an actual battle.Except for those mercs,they can still vs variums and SOMETIMES win.I'm talking so rare that the varium person literally has to have no brain at all and have mangled stats.

Is varium free?No.
But there's surveys,you're lying!!!???Doi omgoshness,how can i be that stupid?Yeah,only if you're from the US and canada.Scratch ALL the other players that play this game,except if you're maybe from a place like england or australia.

Giras Wolfe -> RE: ED part of AE? (4/25/2011 18:25:11)

Its a tragic combination of P2P and horrifyingly expensive.

Compared to all the other F2P and relatively cheap AE games, ED doesn't really fit in.

PTW = pay to win.

H4ll0w33n -> RE: ED part of AE? (4/25/2011 18:37:49)

ED is the game out of all the AE games that you can actually lose in. Not accounting the fact that in aqw you need a group of people to kill bosses.

goldslayer1 -> RE: ED part of AE? (4/25/2011 18:40:40)

@Halloween
depends on the boss.
u can solo most of them if u know how to.

Purple112 -> RE: ED part of AE? (4/25/2011 18:45:23)

I have a varium gun, solid build, and horrible battle record. Yes most items are varium, but you still can win without. This game was designed with both casual and hardcore gamers in mind.

veneeria -> RE: ED part of AE? (4/25/2011 19:12:13)

highly expensive game, not always was like this, only when they joined AE.. Since i can't do nothing, i am trusting they have a solid reason to charge us this amount of money.

And well, i do see non-variums, none have won against me is a truth though. They were momentary nice, when they released :

Some new weapons to non-varium (which really, wasn't that much time ago)
added a credit option enchantments and now a discount on the prices.

But still, the problems on pvp carry on.
Indeed it is our choice to pay or not for the game, but to be pressured to buy is something else.

One Winged Angel1357 -> RE: ED part of AE? (4/25/2011 20:08:32)

At teh higher levels where Varium runs rampant its harder to win but not impossible on my alt people(variums and F2P) lvoed to challaenge me becuase i was a challange and a F2P(so if they didnt know me they thought easy win) and i was able to beat varium players even varium players that were one or sometimes two levels over me so F2P was possible in the past now i havent taken to trying my new build out on my main becuase there are some major holes which i need different pieces of gear to fix(one being two physical weapons not a good idea) but im sure once ive got the credits my build will prove a problem even for some Varium members(Founders and Bunny's not likely)

To 95% thats true. But in yesterdays Power Hour i was able to kill 2 varium players.
One because he accidently clicked the wrong skill button. Should happen more often

altimatum -> RE: ED part of AE? (4/26/2011 12:01:42)

p2p of course, if you could limit yourself to 50$ a year on this game, it'd be like aqw memby?-(probably not)

IsaiahtheMage -> RE: ED part of AE? (4/26/2011 13:00:52)

I agree. You have to P2P to even keep up with anyone else.

Defiant -> RE: ED part of AE? (4/26/2011 13:48:43)

At level 23-28, just having the Gamma Bot has won me a TON of battles.

$50 for some stuff on a 'FREE' game, or $50 for an Xbox/PS3 game that could last you a long time?
