could someone fill me in on the stat diminishes i dont get

it is a balancer for op builds.

remember to ad your stat points and weapon points together
eg. strength 45 + 23 = 78 total
according to the stat progression sheet this 1 one point wasted.

Oh, Hai Fay Bee and thx for the link so does it just take more to get higher dmage,resistance or deffense

Yes, beyond 55 stat points it simply takes more stats to get higher damage, defense, or resistance. Titan explained the diminishing returns in this post here if you still aren't sure about it.
