OK, I'm getting sick of such threads and all discussions revolving around money and founder status. Here are a couple of facts:
1. In AQW the most desired weapons and classes are NON MEMBER, which means any free player can get them. But there is a requirement: they have to be hard working and committed to get them. What do we have here? A money sink. Too many lazy and noobish players with only 2k wins but wielding the latest equipment.
2. One of the most dedicated and hard working players here, New Hope, which is a good friend of mine, is taking retiring from ED very seriously.
Why? because after the latest updates lv33 f2ps can be easily pwned by lv27 varium nobodys. And of course because of the lack of appreciation towards them.
Who is this New Hope and why should we care? Well, she is the alltime 2v2 champion, but still she has spent almost all her credits enhancing few weapons and must decide really good what she buys, because she only has access to the default inventory space. Do you think that's fair? But nevertheless she is still the alltime champ, while most founders are just nobodys. And of course she is a very friendly and helpful player, unlike most founders, which are arrogant and selfish.
A true player appreciation should be 1000 var for the daily 1v1 and 2v2 champs, 500 var for daily no2's, and 150 for daily no3's. Because that will really encourage players to keep duelling. And maybe something really special for top three alltime leaders, because those are the real ED role models. No overpowered stuff, only distinguished stuff.
Still unhappy with the FREE bonus you've received? That's pathetic. Remember one thing: if the game would lose 75% of its founders overnight it won't be a big deal right now, but in my opinion if the game loses New Hope, it will lose all hope.
