If an offer doesn't work, you should use the "Missing Points?" link to appeal it. For some offer companies, you have to go to Offer Status and then you can choose which offers to appeal. These links are usually at the top of the offer list. If you have any email from that offer, that's usually enough proof to get your missing points. AE doesn't have control over missing points, so you'll have to contact the offer companies directly to resolve any problems.
It's also a good idea to check the List of Good offers on the AExtras forum and avoid all the problem offers listed.
Since this concerning offers, please any offers you have problems with in the problem threads of the AExtras forum. Locking up.
