Polandor -> A discussion about having a little extra credit (5/9/2011 15:43:31)

I would like to have a discussion, about finding ways to get a little bonus to allow players to retrain after the game update.

Many if not all release encourage to retain.

How about some kind of weekly bonus at log on to help the poor players stuck with a bad build under 500 credits?

About a login bonus on Friday ?
http://forums2.battleon.com/f/tm.asp?m=18962527

EDIT
We should have a one time 500 credit login bonus on Friday of each week (update or not).
You get it only if you log that day, if you skip a few weeks (it does not stack) you still only get 500$.

Many times I run in players who have a build so bad, they can only lose, so it take them for ever to get 500 credits.

Also when doing a new build you will most likely fine tune it, witch cost many retrain at 500$ each.

EDIT 2
A new Idea a mission (kill 10 non boss NPC) reward a free retrain. (mission can be done unlimited amount of times, if a limit his needed, than once a day)

Let discuss it !

P.S.
I want a discussion and input before making it in an official suggestion, since the first proposition will surely evolve a lot into a far better idea with the help of other players. Since we can not have discussion in the suggestion area.

I think it is a great idea.
I have seen many players stuck with a bad build after the updates.

Supported

Ummm, it's okai, as long as it doens't stack from release to release, and it's only once time each release.

Yes no stacking.

We should have a one time 500 credit login bonus on Friday of each week (update or not).

editing firs post, with players input.

Supported.
I can do with a little extra credit.

Tiago X -> RE: A discussion about having a little extra credit (5/9/2011 17:22:32)

@Polandor: You just ruined it. We should only be able to get those credits to retrain.

Polandor -> RE: A discussion about having a little extra credit (5/9/2011 17:54:12)

@Tiago How about some constructive idea, it not good ok how would you make it better ?
500 credit a week only if you log on is too much ?

DillBagel -> RE: A discussion about having a little extra credit (5/10/2011 1:13:15)

This is any awesome idea, full support. It also encourages people to come try out the update, and people can stop complaining about ruined builds every update.
Tiago, you're being very pessimistic. Making it only usable on retrains is a difficult task that would take more effort than it's worth.

Firewallblast -> RE: A discussion about having a little extra credit (5/14/2011 0:49:45)

Going thru all the topics i missed this one i liked so... Well i like the idea because my lvl 28 bh flat out suks and i dont want to get another 1 and start all over again. 500 is a little too much for some pp (perfect for me thou).but if u think about it to get a non varium armor u need to get on every friday for about a year.

Wraith -> RE: A discussion about having a little extra credit (5/14/2011 0:54:47)

Yes! I give you the Sinastr Intellugence Award!

Gold -> RE: A discussion about having a little extra credit (5/14/2011 1:03:13)

IntellUgence... :P

Anyway, I like this idea. My Tech Mage itself has been stuck with the worst build since Beta, after it failed to get any Beta weapons (poor Tech Mage).

Polandor -> RE: A discussion about having a little extra credit (5/14/2011 7:02:07)

Thanks for the ideas and support.

Yugiew -> RE: A discussion about having a little extra credit (5/14/2011 7:31:39)

I think it's a great idea - every Friday - update or not.
It would REALLY help out a lot of people.

8x -> RE: A discussion about having a little extra credit (5/14/2011 7:59:44)

Maybe a login bonus, so if you login every day in the week you get free 1k credits on sunday?

Polandor -> RE: A discussion about having a little extra credit (5/14/2011 13:10:26)

ppl who play everyday, usually do not have credit problems, it better a once a week 500 credit (or more). to help player short on credit that need to retrain.

EDIT 2 in main first post
Just had a new idea, a mission to kill 10, non boss npc, the reward a free retrain. quest can be taken (any number of times, or if a limit is needed once a day).

DeathGuard -> RE: A discussion about having a little extra credit (5/14/2011 13:19:44)

Awesome idea dude, now my bh can get some credits for new retraining ideas ^^

frogbones -> RE: A discussion about having a little extra credit (5/14/2011 13:24:26)

GREAT idea!

IsaiahtheMage -> RE: A discussion about having a little extra credit (5/14/2011 15:27:47)

IMO retraining needs to be free. I mean if it was free we could all have a chance to try out many new creative strategic builds. You cant put thought into builds our try out some new ones beside the spamming ones or the 5 Focus if your charged for it. Credits in no way help the devs earn real money so I dont see why it cant be free. I seen many players with horrid builds but from not knowing a good build and wasting tons of credits on it. Then when someone can give them a good build they dont have credits to retrain with and they cant do 1 vs 1,2 vs 2 or fight NPCs because they will everytime and no one wants to get 7 credits and 14 credits each battle and knowing you will lose. I find that unfair. So if my idea doesnt happen yours is my number 2 so I support.
