(HS) The Tale of Shadows

It is time we come out of hiding. It is time to fight.
This is the story of the Clan of the Shadows.

CLAN STORY
Long, long ago in an ancient time, before most life existed...
Shadows were the rulers.
We ruled infinitely.
We controlled creatures.
We were never under or behind the creatures.
But then came the spiders.

The horrible Arachnoclan.
Ruled by a tyrannical queen.
They overpowered us quickly.
They destroyed most of us.
The rest of us went into hiding.
Until a shadow of the dead fought back.

I led the resistance.
We fought back, we claimed war.
I lost many. For nothing.
No one won that war.
Because it still goes on.
I murdered the Spider Queen.
Damn the spiders eight souls.
She kept coming back.
I killed her eight times.
But she's still here.

I am becoming older and I am getting weaker.
But we WILL win this war!
And enslave the world to the shadows forever.
And no one can stop me.
