BurningFlames -> A Possible Solution to Juggernaut (5/16/2011 20:15:45)

Clearly the Lower levels dislike Juggernaut. A Quick Simple Possible solution that wouldn't solve the problem but make it easier for them.

Make the fights based from 1v1. What I mean is 2v2 players don't randomly encounter Juggernaut but 1v1ers do.

Pros and Cons?

Pros
- They have a 1v1 Build and they are fighting 1 other person.
- 2v2ers (Who have 2v2 builds) Wont waste they're creative build on a harder 1v1.
- Most likely more people to fight.

Cons
- Other then the current Cons I can not see any. But I will add some If clearly evident.

simple but very effective :)

Only problem I can see with this is that the level would STILL have to be changed. A level 33 against 2 Level 24's is not fair no matter how you look at it. However I like the idea of it being 1v1, although in the long run it should really have its own button, as well as giving some nice rewards for beating a juggernaut.

As a short term solution I like :D

If you notice no one has 100% Ratio on the leader boards. This means that it is possible and I have lost 2-6 times against a low lvl team. it's about team work not their lvl. I find the lvl is good because if you add for example lvl 28's then you could possibly get 2 lvl 28 varium user which is pretty much 78% Lost. Depending on their build and yours.

Acient J -> RE: A Possible Solution to Juggernaut (5/16/2011 20:35:43)

The only con I can see is that you're transferring the pain (per se) to 1v1ers. However, I do like this method. The level would still have to be changed, but this would be a major improvement.

BurningFlames -> RE: A Possible Solution to Juggernaut (5/16/2011 20:39:16)

Yeah but it would help :)

IsaiahtheMage -> RE: A Possible Solution to Juggernaut (5/16/2011 20:40:09)

Ok so basically change it to 1 vs 1 Juggernaut mode? No. This was meant to be a 2 vs 1 mode not 1 vs 1 and not to mention a level 23 vs a level 33 varuim?! WTH! That makes no sence whatsoever. I think it needs to be seperate! Its need to be a boss mode and a friend mode meaning you and your pal can team up on a NPC if its above 5 levels ahead of you both and the friend version means you and your pal can team up on your higher level friend that way it be so much more fun! Instead of this unfair nonsence.

Nexus... -> RE: A Possible Solution to Juggernaut (5/16/2011 20:55:16)

@Above

No its still a team of 2 lower levels, just pulling from the pool of 1v1 players rather then the 2v2 pool :)

Also, 78% loss is fine :) Their should always be a challenge in the battle modes, and if 78% loss is the worst case scenario, I think thats better then a 90% win worst case scenario (as it is now). Without challenge there is no defeat, no need to improve, no meaning, and no fun :P

AQWPlayer -> RE: A Possible Solution to Juggernaut (5/16/2011 20:58:10)

Another solution would be a separate button for 2vs1 fights. This would be nice cause I never got to meet even one juggernaut.

Nexus... -> RE: A Possible Solution to Juggernaut (5/16/2011 21:00:37)

@Above

Yup I suggested that above :) I think what the OP is suggesting is more of a short term solution. A whole new button might be more realistic once the 2v1 system itself has been polished :D

The reason Making a separate one wouldn't work is because who would click 2v1 to lose... Plus it's hard to find a match as it is

xxmirxx -> RE: A Possible Solution to Juggernaut (5/16/2011 21:06:35)

Who wants to lose If that happens your just start see all non varium players beg for fame.

Twistedkush -> RE: A Possible Solution to Juggernaut (5/16/2011 21:59:43)

ok i will give a reason neither switching it to 1v1 will work or putting in a button.

Switching to 1v1: When you start looking for a 1v1 match you would see that there are 2 people but yet your not going to your match, you would know instantly that your being teamed up with someone for a Juggernaut match and most in that instance would quit, yes you would sometimes find the match fast enough that you would just go straight to it but that would mean someone was sitting there just waiting for you to team up with them for the Juggernaut match so i don't see how that would work really.

2v1 Button: Ok lets be honest here, what level 26- would press this button, the people Juggernauts would just sit there waiting FOREVER for a match they would find once ever blue moon, and not only that but what would they do put in something that would stop higher levels from just pressing the 2v1 and try to find a Juggernaut, cause for it to work they would have to put in something like that to stop higher levels that don't have the card from trying to find Juggernauts because than the Juggernauts would complain about going against to high of levels and not getting there little power rush of beating up on lower levels.

BurningFlames -> RE: A Possible Solution to Juggernaut (5/17/2011 1:23:37)

Good points kush but it would be better then 2v2

Defiant -> RE: A Possible Solution to Juggernaut (5/17/2011 2:00:15)

No, this wouldn't fix it, it'd just make all the 1v1ers unhappy.

You wouldn't click 1v1 hoping for a 2v1 with a full varium guy, but rather a 1v1 with someone your level.

Polandor -> RE: A Possible Solution to Juggernaut (5/17/2011 7:55:53)

2vs1 currently is really bad, here how to improve it:

* 2vs1 need a new button, so only ppl who want it choose it.
* Increase the team lv, facing a lv 33 to 26-29 (instead f current 22-26).
* a new Leader board for juggernaut consecutive wins (daily)
* Add an option to make a team for 2vs1.
* After each juggernaut win on the same day make the battle harder, example for a lv 33:
26-29 (0 win)
27-29 (after 1 win)
28-29 (after 2 consecutive win)
29-29 (after 3 consecutive win)
29-30 (after 4 consecutive win)
30-30 (after 5 consecutive win)
30-31 (after 6 consecutive win)
31-31 (after 7 consecutive win)
31-32 (after 8 consecutive win)
32-32 (after 9 consecutive win)
32-32 (after 10+ consecutive win)

Those reset everyday, this would make it a challenge, it will also make room for new juggernaut (when someone has 9 consecutive wins, it would ensure less waiting time before a match begin.

*Juggernaut should always go 2nd if facing two lower level player. (26-29)
* Exception to the above rules, give 50% chance to go first if facing a team with a level -1 of the juggernaut
* Exception to the above rules, give 33% chance to go first if facing a team with a level -2 of the juggernaut
* Exception to the above rules, give 13% chance to go first if facing a team with a level -3 of the juggernaut

Lv 33 face two lv 22-26. it a 100% win to any descent lv 33.
You could put 3 or 4 lv 22-26 vs one lv 33 and the lv 33 will still win.
It also a I win button, for those who pay 1200 varium.
It a I lose button if a lv 22-26 try to play a regular 2-2 battle and end up vs a juggernaut.
You can say just don't play 2-2, right ?
Well a lv 22-26 has a lot of chance of facing a higher level in 1-1 and also lose.
The new 2vs1, is actually removing a 2-2 mode for many players.

2vs1 need to be challenging, not a free wins.
