ok first of all im pretty sure YOUR dex has no effect on HIM blocking, thats a good block rate, its just chance bro

@(below lol) isaiah dex does have some effects for mercs, ecspecially in 2v2 against artillery strike, i like to have my def higher

Then like I said you arent a STR Merc what type of STR Merc has high DEX and STR that build really fails do to the point dex doesnt beneifit mercs at all. Also if he did do that then yes he was lucky and again you arent a STR Merc.

Shadow arts needs to be removed, it's the most broken passive skill in the game. More than 95 percent of the players in this game rely on gamma bot to win, and with shadow arts their ability to block has been increased by 10 fold. It's funny the BH class was garbage in beta, but with the introduction of this satanic skill, the class is now tier 1. Now thats a joke, I guess the saying "Yesterdays trash is todays treasure." holds true in this case.

@Angels Holocasut Disagree. Tenfold are you serious?! Its a 10% chance at level 10 to just block and stun. 10 stat points to get something that is not even guranteed? Heck no. Its not OPed. Mercs are still number one. They rule 2 vs 2 I know there gonns rule 2 vs 1 and they still are like number 2 in 1 vs 1.

People just say this stuff because they cant beat it or dont like it so they complain about it all day and call it OPed.

@Ajs777 But that is just a requirement Dex doesnt do much for Mercs. None of their skills improve with it and Hybrid armor makes them not to need more dex.

Yes hybrid helps, but it does not make dex useless, i use dex very much in my merc strategy for example fighting a mage with malf and a mixture of phys can eenrgy weapons, i can switch hybrid and still have decent def for the phys attacks

@angels as much as i dislike SA it does not increase block tenfold, its 10% there is a difference and i dont see a huge reason to remove it... and im merc :P, and bount wasnt garbage really ever in my opinion i mean the 1v1 all time leaders during that time were bounts by majority even back to when Gamal was up there... and if ppl are relying on gamma bot this much, then SA isnt their only problem...

The only reason why Bh were on top of all time was that they only had the smoke and massacre build, which guaranteed fast wins but lost quickly if they went second against a fellow Bh. Their win ratios were a joke, a smart merc would always dominate a BH.

@Ajs777 I know dex isnt useless becuase they need that to survive a BH smoke and to not have noob dex so they get blocked all the time. I am just saying Dex isnt as useful for Mercs as it is for other classes since we have Hybrid Armor and no skills that improve with it thats all.

@Angels So if a smart Merc would always dominate a Bh why are you complaining about SA being Oped? It should be easy for a famous and good player like yourself to beat them.

yes that is true, it isnt as necessary for mercs but certainly not useless

@angels i remember good bounts as frostbane-emp builds... actually i even remeber you that way at one point... but anyway i see shadow arts as no threat i still see mages as a bother for bot builds, however i noticed they can stun quite well with max SA which is a tad annoying.... all classes have a way to defend bots

bounts: Shadow arts
mages: malfunction
mercs: tank builds

I totally agree with both Jzaanu and Angels on this one.

And I proved it the other day while I was with Goony and Sundance. I don't need to go any further than to say that the 5 focus BH is by far imbued with more than just luck with SA.

@ Angels Ok, But if you do get rid of SA We would need a replacement skill. Because with out it we would become one of the most underused classes in the game. But then again if you took out SA and buffed our skills a bit and removed requirements then maybe we could move on. But sense none of this is going to happen just DROP IT.

like i said, i havent seen it as a big deal really, if it makes you guys so upset then freakin switch to bounty hunter.... if you dont wanna cuz you dont think the class good enough... then why complain....i suggest going merc and stayin that way but hey its preference, ok angels your mage right? so all the bounts you fight that you wish didnt have SA, probably wish you didnt have malfunction or reroute... or even deadly aim for that matter... it evens out no build beats all builds, some just beat more then others, and of all the things i dont like ED doing, SA really wasnt that bad of a thing to implement if you ask me... i actually dont see a HUGE class to class balance issue, its the fact that each class has basicaly the same build that bores me

as for the 5 focus bount, its a tanked bount with bloodlust, which is a very powerful build i must say but i have still beat some, and i lose some, its how it works seriously if you guys think bounts are so OP'd switch to them, if you look back they have never really been nerfed not like mages with loop heal and merc hybrid and artillery strike

@rkc well yes it is all chance, but SA increases those chances
