Note: Well we cant tell bad words in game so this is how i relax if you find this thread meaningless and stupid i can understand but i have to relax somehow because im realy annoyed

Its realy imposible i got high dex + %6 shadow arts , my oponent got lower dex than me , he did 2 blocks i did nothing

ENOUGH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In other match Same dex he did 3 blocks :S

from TURKISH that just made similar topic about dexterity

and how is it possible that a str merc with 30-40 max support start be4 me with 90 support ( same goes with str bhz )

Well, all i can say is that im sorry. Yes I know that I got ultra lucky and I blocked 2 times. And yes i agree, the RNG stuffs up too often.
Well I just vsed you again and you defeated me. Happy now??

@ above i think that player was just lucky. because even though you have WAAAY much more supp. than ur opponent, the minimum chance to start is not 0% that means he can go first, but he's very lucky if that happens

Because this game is all about PURE LUCK , if you lucky you will win somehow. We need luck nerf ... I dont care going second but these blocks too annoying , im the one with Shadow art but my oponents are the blocking side i dont understand :/

I've experienced this a lot, especially in Juggernaut battles. It's not only with blocks, but with deflects as well. I can't even get upset about it anymore. There's always a minimum percent chance for something. Better to just consider them as being EXTREMELY lucky, instead of pulling my hair out and shouting profanity at the computer. Yes, it got that serious! :(

The game is not purely based on luck. Well, if you are using a str build its nearly impossible to win if you go second. It maybe a little bit luck that lets them go first. I used to be a str BH. I only had 23 support and I go first. xD

I disagree. It should be a 1% chance for them to go first if you have 90 Support and they have 30 -40 if you have 140 support and they have 25 it should be 0% chance.

I agree, i think if u have at least 40 support more than your opponent you should always go first.
same with dex. I think if someone has 10 def to your 20 def, they should not be able to block.

The idea that IsaiahtheMage mentioned can be applied to support/starting but in dex its imposible to apply because there is a skill called " Shadow Arts" that increase blocking chance so if my oponent has 20 dex more than me i cant do block so what is the purpose of this skill ???

shadow arts would still work, but it would become the only thing enabling you to block.

i agree with lowering blocks,

making it unable to block is not a good idea. 10% is just like having 20 extra dex so they must get very very lucky to block against that

ok first of all im positive YOUR dex does not effect how your opponent blocks, just because you have more doesnt mean he cant block at all, as i mentioned in one other thread, i was in a 2v2 when a guy was smoked to 0-0 def (before agility) and he blocked me.... its all chance, yea shadow arts gives you 6% not 100%, think about it like this, youve seen "wheel of fortune" right, well say there are 100 equally spaced panels on the wheel 6 of them are blocks 94 are hit, your extra chance of blocking on top of whatever your dex is, is not very high even maxed SA is only at 10% yea ppl get lucky, but i suggest not relying on your primary wep unless your an str merc or bount, spam the guns even deflections leave damage, while some say its just a pure game of luck, i dont think that is entirely true, because this game does require some strategy, but as for blocking yes it is luck, and the higher your def is the chances of being lucky are a little higher ive made a maxed dex build for a noob account of mine, and ive gone through battles not blocking once with him and others where i blocked 5+ times, i just think its funny how ppl think SA makes them invicible

You get annoyed when people block you, but you probably don't even notice how much you block other people.

Block Adjustment = (defender dexterity - attacker dexterity) / 2

Chance to Block = 10 + Block Adjustment

The chance to block can never be less than 4%
The chance to block can never be more than 45%
Connect reduces the chance that your attacks will be blocked. It can not reduce the block rate below the minimum. of 4%.

Example 1:
Defender has 100 Dexterity
Attacker has 60 Dexterity

Block Adjustment = (100 - 60) / 2 = 20
Chance to Block = 10 + 20 = 30%

Example 2:
Defender has 60 Dexterity
Attacker has 100 Dexterity

Block Adjustment = (60 - 100) / 2 = -20
Chance to Block = 10 + -20 = -10%
Since the block chance can never reduce below 4%, the Chance to Block becomes 4%

Example 3:
Defender has 30 Dexterity (Also, the defender has a -40 Dexterity Debuff Applied)
Attacker has 29 Dexterity
ur dex does affect how ur enemy block

im pretty sure we know u cant have 0% chance to block which is y some people was suggesting it. 6% for shadow arts is very good
considering that their average dex+SA=10% that means 10 turns there should be 1 block compared to 4% which is about 20 turns 1 block more,. u forgot to mention robot users.

I say the blocks should be not lowered because it a nice thing and there is no harm of blocks if you a good player.

@hallow i have mentioned bot users and all that in multiple other posts, there have been so many threads on this type of subject i get tired of repeating myself

it doesnt work that way, 10 turns doesnt mean you should block once, you could block everytime and you might not block at all, the higher your dex/SA just increases chance to block not promise more blocks

Indeed it all depends on ''luck''. I hate when ppl is trying to find a reason to that they blocked like they say support or shadow arts and something like that! THEY ARE CHEATERs!
