Wheel of Points Location: Gameshow Planet -> Games -> Wheel of Points Objective: Solve the word puzzles by guessing letters and spinning a wheel for points! Objective Completed: You won Wheel of Points! Requirements: Completion of Gameshow Planet introduction Release Date: May 27, 2011 Enemies: None NPCs: GLaDERP Dialogue: GLaDERP: Choose the stage you would like to compete in! There are Nine Stages and a Final Course you may choose. You may also choose to go back. After choosing a stage: GLaDERP: The Puzzle will begin when you are ready! Begin! (Begins the mini-game) Instructions GLaDERP: The game is simple! Solve the word puzzle on the screen by guessing the letters that are in the words! GLaDERP: First, you will spin the wheel to determine how many points each letter you guess will be worth. GLaDERP: For each correct letter, you will get the amount you spun for every letter that's in the puzzle. GLaDERP: If you roll 500, guess T, and there are 2 T's on the board, you will get 1000 points. GLaDERP: You can't guess vowels on normal turns. To guess a vowel, you need to buy it. GLaDERP: At the end of a turn, you can choose to buy a vowel for one flat rate of 250 points. GLaDERP: If you choose a vowel that is not on the board or if you accidentally choose a consonant, you will still lose 250 points. GLaDERP: At the end of a successful turn, you will have the option to solve the puzzle. GLaDERP: If you successfully solve the puzzle, points will increase by your last spin for every letter that gets revealed! GLaDERP: If you try to solve the puzzle but guess incorrectly, you will lose the game! You only have one chance. GLaDERP: Each puzzle has a score goal that you must reach to advance to the next stage. GLaDERP: Solving the puzzle will only ensure that you get experience and credits so play carefully! GLaDERP: Be careful not to select letters you have already chosen! Use the puzzle category to narrow down the puzzle solution! GLaDERP: If you choose a letter you've already guessed, or a letter that is not in the puzzle, or guess a vowel without buying it, you will lose 10% of your total score. GLaDERP: If you need another explanation, don't hesitate to ask. Good luck! Quit
The Game Game rules are clarified above. The wheel you spin will look like this: [image]http://img8.imageshack.us/img8/2702/wheelofpoints.png[/image] The amount the bar is filled in the "Strength" bar determines how much the wheel will spin. Your points and the point goal are in the upper left-hand corner. If you spin a Bankrupt: GLaDERP: And just like that, you're back to 0! GLaDERP: And you were so close to that 10,000 point space! GLaDERP: Uh-oh! I hope you weren't to attached to those points! If you spin a negative number: GLaDERP: So sad for you! You've lost points. GLaDERP: A little setback. Don't get too upset. GLaDERP: Hey, at least you didn't lose all your points. GLaDERP: Your points have fallen in the wrong direction. - Spin Again
- Buy a Vowel
- Quit
If you guess a correct letter under the correct conditions: GLaDERP: Good guess! What would you like to do now? GLaDERP: Nice one! What now? GLaDERP: That was a great guess! Can you solve it yet? GLaDERP: You got it! Now what? - Spin Again
- Buy a Vowel
- Solve
- Quit
If you guess an incorrect letter: GLaDERP: Sorry. That letter is not in the puzzle. GLaDERP: Better luck next time! GLaDERP: Swing and a miss! Spin again or buy a vowel. GLaDERP: Nope! No letter there! - Spin Again
- Buy a Vowel
- Quit
If you solve the puzzle but lack the points to progress: GLaDERP: That's correct but you don't have enough points to progress. GLaDERP: Well you solved the puzzle but you didn't earn enough points! GLaDERP: You got it! Unfortunately you didn't get enough points. If you solve the puzzle and also meet the Point Goal: GLaDERP: You passed with flying colors! Well done. GLaDERP: Great job, «You»! You solved the puzzle successfully. GLaDERP: You're the big winner! Great job. You win 5 * (Your Mech's Level) Experience and 35 * (Your Mech's Level) Credits for meeting the Point Goal and solving the puzzle.
