I'll answer them in order as best as possible for you.

1: Are AK's allowed to post on other threads even if it is not assigned to them?
AK's are allowed to "post" anywhere. However, they are only allowed to "Edit", "Delete", and "Tag" posts on boards assigned to them.

2: How do you post on the Debate Club?
You'll have to post an application in the " Debate Club Application Thread".

3: Do you have to be a Member on AQW to become an AK?
Nope. Member or Non-Member you can be an AK.

4: How often do AK's get online in the forums?
Most should be on regularly. As in active atleast twice a week.

To clarify Scherzo's points:

AKs act as normal members in all forums that they are not assigned to, but have moderator powers in the forums they work in. That is, we can delete, edit, and bump posts; tag, move, lock, and sticky threads; and issue warnings and notices.

There is no set criteria for activity, but AKs are expected to be active enough to aid in moderating their respective forums.
