Today, I've had my share of critical and with my 124 support build, I don't expect to get hit with critical, or deflected. Sadly, I got hit with critical by a mercenary with 36, and a TM with 49. Critical hits happen to often for those who are not deserving of it. 13% for MAX to critical is just too low. What are you opinions on this?

it isn't too low.
i am tired of being critted once or more per match
specialy by tech mages.

criticals happen to often, i want max to be a 3% minimum 1% and have all skills (Like BB and cheapshot) with a 25% to be reduced to a 5%, and then make a crit only ignore 50% instead of 75% of def

^How would you expect to get through tank builds? Within my time as a tank, I've managed to go against many high support builds and have rarely been inflicted with a critical hit or as so much as a deflection.

I asked you a question, yet your quite apprehensive to answer it. You've resorted to name calling to compensate for your lack of in-game knowledge. Please tell me how I'm insane. Also, please don't resort to attacking one's self character so a proper discussion can be created.

From your description of the problem, it seems like your main issue is with 'undeserving' players critting too often, rather than you critting too little. In that case, how would increasing the max chance to crit solve the problem? Wouldn't this merely result in 'undeserving' players critting even more often?

This is probably the worst thread that Angels Holocaust has ever seen before. Are you new to this game or something? There are at least two to three crits per battle.

i think its u who lacks ingame knowledge if u think crit rate should be increased.
i cant go a single match these days without being critted one or more per match.

and if ur fighting people with nearly as much % as u. then u wont be critting much.
so its pointless to say that u aren't critting much if ur fighting people with just as much support.

ur % goes up every 7 support that u have over ur enenmy.

so dont ever say i lack ingame knowledge.

He who lurks, I'm 100 percent sure that Goldslayer1 knows what he's talking about. He uses math and statistics to make his builds and to make things better he helps other players.

He doesn't know what he's talking since not once in this thread have I indicted that support doesn't max out at 13% and requires 91% more against the opposing player.

goldslayer1 has good idea how be merc and bounty. he just skill as Angels Holocaust minus wins differences. He Who Lurks you lack better judgement I know you were mage longer. But theres one thing I know about goldslayer1 he knows what he is taking about. He probably more skill then dax. I seen him hit 99 percent. Even 1 time he had 100 percent without just doing npc. Back topic just cause you have high support built does mean you get more of chance.

Luck plays too much of a role in Battles already! Do you know how many Battles I've lost because a Merc got lucky and finished me off with a Crit?!? Well neither do I; I lost count.

I think we should make the Crit chance equal for everyone. Support is too powerful if you ask me.

I think I can somewhat understand He Who Lurk's position.

Increasing the max chance to crit would have no effect on increasing the crit chance of players with low support, as they do not have to support required to raise their crit rate above the current limit of 13%. In other words increasing the max chance to crit would benefit insane support spammers.

A possible reason for this is to allow support spammers to get more criticals, since they 'have the right' to crit more often as they have more support than those without. Another possible reason is that He Who Lurks is himself a support spammer; this is not an attack on him, but rather a note to the influence of biasness in general.

That being said, I might not necessarily have interpreted He Who Lurk's rationale correctly, and hence welcome him to clarify himself, which he has not done so far. I also do not support his position, as this would increase the dependence on the luck factor, spark massive protests within the ED community, make support an even more OP stat and possibly encourage more people to spam support.

yes i have done 99% several times before.
and i did 120 wins at 100% back in CAD within just 3 hours after the reset.
yesterday i did 300 at 97%
there were also some other times back when i was in legit when i did 98 %.

I deeply apologize, He WHo Lurks, but GoldSlayer1 and Angels Holocaust are right. Tanks aren't that hard to beat (I will soon be uploading a vid including me defeating Helloguy and a Varium beast tank with insane tech, and I, as a mage, the UP class, defeated it with quite some ease. Without a crit. Although there are no crits in me vid, I have critted 9 times today, in the few battles I have done today. I have not done 69 battles, either.

I agree with this thread, but i think he gave off the message in the wrong way, I think unfair anoying luck occurs in two ways and I like to think of it as UNsensible Luck

The first way: This is what he who lurks mentioned when people who are undeserving of alot of luck get alot of luck. eg. crits on a support mage.

The second way: This is what everyone else is complaining about and is when people have a high luck chance but way too high to be a "fair fight" eg. vs. a support techmage and they get 3 crits, it's almost imposible to win.

These problems could be fixed in many ways but the most simple would be to lower the base chance and lower the max chance of all luck %'s

Sounds like you just want to compensate a bad build with the ability to spam support more and win with little to no effort.
