Eukara Vox -> RE: Book of The Rift - Discussion thread (7/20/2011 17:56:49)

Have you tried to contact Askewen?

I think (s)he is the only one left that hasn't been semi claimed or asked.

Goldstein -> RE: Book of The Rift - Discussion thread (7/20/2011 21:11:11)

I have, and (s)he just responded, stating that they did not know if they would be participating or not.

Eukara Vox -> RE: Book of The Rift - Discussion thread (7/20/2011 21:43:14)

Then, my suggestion would be to go to this thread: http://forums2.battleon.com/f/tm.asp?m=19170148 and advertise your need.

An artist is necessary. We made that point from the beginning. Good luck.

Arthur -> RE: Book of The Rift - Discussion thread (7/21/2011 14:47:37)

And our clan is finally up and working.
Lets do it.

Riprose123 -> RE: Book of The Rift - Discussion thread (7/24/2011 20:04:48)

I'm going to drop out of this project. None of my group members are responding and frankly I'm way to busy at the moment.

Eukara Vox -> RE: Book of The Rift - Discussion thread (7/24/2011 20:59:14)

:(

I am sorry Riprose. Good luck with what you are busy with!

lordkaho -> RE: Book of The Rift - Discussion thread (7/25/2011 4:03:22)

I'm curious. Will each of the clan's stories entwine with others and become of one huge build up towards the climax/finale or will they have their own resolution?

Eukara Vox -> RE: Book of The Rift - Discussion thread (7/25/2011 12:00:10)

There is an underlying storyline that is being written, with each clan contributing to it. The first piece that each clan gives us is like an introduction to their clan and characters, establishing them. Then, the L&L Staff will write something to go after that, kinda like a general guide and such, to help not only us further the ultimate story but guide the clans to their next piece.

We won't dictate it, but hopefully what we put in the book will kinda give the clans an idea of what to do next. As the story goes on, we will all be working more and more towards the final battle/event/OMG scenario. In the end, everyone will be contributing to closing the rift. In the time that the rift is closed, each clan will have their own ending though. Just like every good book, the ending isn't reaching the goal and BAM! the book is done. There is still some story after, the picking up of pieces, the chaos of "what happens now" and the realisation between all those that participated that it was just more than your clan working to end it.

Mortarion -> RE: Book of The Rift - Discussion thread (7/25/2011 12:10:09)

HEy Eukara I got a question if a clan wanted, I am not saying mine or that I want to, but work to keep open the rift? or that is not a possible option

superjars -> RE: Book of The Rift - Discussion thread (7/25/2011 23:06:08)

As long as there was a good reason behind wanting to keep it open, that might be an acceptable plan for a clan. However, such ability would be limited, as there are already a few parties who are working towards that exact goal. It really would depend on how the clan were to sell themselves. And it would take a lot of selling.

You can disband my group since I'm the only one left. Im not good enough a leader anyways:/

Eukara Vox -> RE: Book of The Rift - Discussion thread (9/1/2011 1:36:10)

New chapters. Obviously, we aren't stopping with the beginning of school. We are scheming. But for your enjoyment:

Cephalotus - The Fell Copse

Order of the Blood Moon - Godspeed My Friends

Question Mark? -> RE: Book of The Rift - Discussion thread (9/1/2011 1:49:19)

Anyone need help? I do some nice hand drawings in the style of Edward Gory (If a little more detailed) and I'm an aspiring Cosmic Horror author (My novel is still not quite ready for publication though...)
EDIT: Moving this somewhere else...

lordkaho -> RE: Book of The Rift - Discussion thread (9/1/2011 2:19:45)

Finally. I thought this project was gonna die, with all the groups disbanding and whatnot.

flamingknight11 -> RE: Book of The Rift - Discussion thread (9/1/2011 17:18:26)

Those are amazing chapters. Can't wait to see how all the stories turn out.

superjars -> RE: Book of The Rift - Discussion thread (9/1/2011 19:21:29)

Not dying, no. It's just become a larger project than I think we anticipated at first. We really want to see the remaining groups push out some interesting works to add in. I'm also working at a little prequel story and then on to the first connective piece.

Glais -> RE: Book of The Rift - Discussion thread (9/1/2011 19:28:46)

I'll try to have my art up as soon as I can.
We got a new scanner, but since my mom wants it hooked up to a new non-internet-having computer, I have to wait until it's networked to actually scan stuff :/

Razen -> RE: Book of The Rift - Discussion thread (9/1/2011 19:36:31)

As if the intensity of the project was not bad enough as is, as well, I(One of the largest assets to my group), find myself really cut on time, as I expect many others are as well, due to school for most of us now. As well, it is much more difficult to get me, Mordred, and UPP together at once for awhile to write, making things even more difficult.

And, I did get one piece of artwork done, so I could get that set up at a perfect part soon, but I'd rather feel better and have all the art ready at once.

Glais -> RE: Book of The Rift - Discussion thread (9/1/2011 19:45:43)

Exactly, we need all the art together so it looks nice and stuff...
I have enough time to get it all done, just not the resources....yet.

superjars -> RE: Book of The Rift - Discussion thread (9/1/2011 23:01:11)

We understand that completely Razen. Which is why we'll be continuing to work on the Book until we are satisfied with it. Keep plugging away and getting as much as you can done as soon as you can and we will continue until it is something we can all be proud of and happy with.

lordkaho -> RE: Book of The Rift - Discussion thread (9/6/2011 23:37:34)

Wow, I never noticed that there was a prologue there.

Laverna,...You're kinda sucky for a mercenary. You did the job done, and with gruesome results as expected, but you need more "finesse".

As for Hyerthi, I think I'm going to enjoy her. *grin*

@Eukara

I have already started making a few scenes. Expect them later today.

Eukara Vox -> RE: Book of The Rift - Discussion thread (9/15/2011 11:03:55)

I have received illustrations for two of the current, in book entries.

Godspeed My Friends..............................................................................Order of the Blood Moon

and

Prologue.........................................................................................................Eukara Vox, Superjars and Mritha Fallen

Also, we have received one new chapter from a clan. Still waiting on a couple others, but I will tell you that my staff and I have begun to write our next section, so if you are working on your first entry, hop to it!
