One Winged Angel1357 -> Varium to Credit Converstion rates (6/28/2011 21:51:28)

I have been doing some math work and i have found that there are two very different conversation rates going on at the least
We have the Jugg rate which is the Varium is 6% of the Credits and the first Enhancement where the Varium is 1.42857####% of the credits
Converstion rates
Jugg 6%
Enhancements
1 1.42857repeated
2 1.42857repeated
3 1.6repeated
4 1.5%
5 1.6repeated
6 1.4%
7 1.1875%
8 1.0909 repeated
9 1.0357142857 repeated
10 1%

The underlined part is whats repeating

Dont you guys think we shoudl just settle down on one solid Converstion Rate so whenever we do a Varium and Credit version it takes about 20 seconds to figure out the prices

Yah but seems more of suggestion.

One Winged Angel1357 -> RE: Varium to Credit Converstion rates (6/28/2011 21:58:34)

yeah sorta does but tis mroe of a discussion of should ED have a solid Converstion rate from Varium to Credit pricing all teh numbers is to show all the different converstion rates

H4ll0w33n -> RE: Varium to Credit Converstion rates (6/28/2011 22:08:18)

._. im not getting it...

why should there be a solid conversion rate?

xxmirxx -> RE: Varium to Credit Converstion rates (6/28/2011 22:12:20)

because were try figure out how much will cost for class change.

ED Prince of Shadows -> RE: Varium to Credit Converstion rates (6/28/2011 22:13:32)

Pretty much, yeah.

ND Mallet -> RE: Varium to Credit Converstion rates (6/28/2011 22:14:32)

@H4ll So the Staff can make credit and varium options for all features. Wouldn't you like to fire a Satellite Destroyer for credits or change your name with them as well? Maybe a cheaper credit enhancement option as well.

Omni -> RE: Varium to Credit Converstion rates (6/28/2011 22:15:16)

The simple truth is that there is no distinct ratio between credits and varium. Features and items are all priced individually because Varium simply has too many separate uses for a defined value such as class change, item purchasing, item enhancing, style customizing, exp boost, token boost, slot purchasing, ect.

goldslayer1 -> RE: Varium to Credit Converstion rates (6/28/2011 22:16:02)

@OWA
IMO 10k credits = 100 varium
just do the math from there.

they didn't do that for 2vs1 so your way is wrong sorry.

goldslayer1 -> RE: Varium to Credit Converstion rates (6/28/2011 22:57:51)

@mir
yeah but IMO the silver card is just way too cheap. i understand a lvl 20 cant get 20k
but a lvl 33? common seriously?

xxmirxx -> RE: Varium to Credit Converstion rates (6/28/2011 23:01:57)

I agree with you I was very annoy by that.

thort so... and i definatly prefer that it stays that way

BlueKatz -> RE: Varium to Credit Converstion rates (6/28/2011 23:16:45)

Enhancement value :/

One Winged Angel1357 -> RE: Varium to Credit Converstion rates (6/29/2011 7:22:06)

@ H4ll the reason behind this is just like the other guys said its also to makes the Devs work easier if they do this again in the future

@Omni we have reached a point where the value of Varium is leveling off for now so we could in theory create a solid formula for these kinds of things but once the value of Varium changes its a guessing game for one round they you can reset the formula

@Gold im not doing this for my benefit and clearly Titan thought it was a fair price to make us get 20K for something that is worth 1.2k Varium so take it up with the big man if it bothers you so much becuase i really dont want to hear it
