King FrostLich -> The risk of changing to the evolved class? (6/29/2011 8:12:39)

Is it me or do I see something is going to happen if you change class. Take a close look at Cindy's picture fighting Armor Hazard? Image

What do you see? Of course most of you will see the reroute skill on Cinderella's skills and you will go "OMG TACTICAL MERCS GET REROUTE, THATS SO OVERPOWERED" but no that's NOT what I see.(well kinda) If you take a closer look one last time, you can see 12 BOXES on the bottom(excluding the boosters, unblockables and the bot attacks) which is equivalent to the current skills tech mages, bounty hunters and mercenaries have. So if you were to upgrade your class, this would mean SOME of your skills are going to be replaced. What does this mean? Well here's the answer, if you change class some of your skills will be erased and replaced by the new skill depending on your class and some of the skills will be replaced from another class.

Example:

Tech mage turns into Blood Mage. Because of this, technician and defense matrix will be replaced with some skills from the mercenary class and one of the skills removed will be replaced by plasma cannon.

Conclusion:

SOME skills will be removed and replaced when you evolve your class. So now, what's your opinion? Is this gonna affect the playing field in Delta?

Image tags removed. Please don't use them in regular posting. ~Mecha

midnight assassin -> RE: The risk of changing to the evolved class? (6/29/2011 8:15:50)

Wow bh emp will be useless and lol seriously 2 artillery strikes in the battle? I bet tm will now have blood lust and maybe ch will be the future up evolved class in my opinion.

King FrostLich -> RE: The risk of changing to the evolved class? (6/29/2011 8:17:15)

If you were to think logically, blood mage would be more of a hand to hand/melee class. How can artillery strike be even placed in their skill?

...Sonya... -> RE: The risk of changing to the evolved class? (6/29/2011 8:17:47)

Why do i have the feeling Mage Is getting Berzerker ? [8|]

xxmirxx -> RE: The risk of changing to the evolved class? (6/29/2011 8:19:00)

dude the skills are exactly same minus green skill looks like emp.

midnight assassin -> RE: The risk of changing to the evolved class? (6/29/2011 8:24:20)

@ mir
Maybe it's the unblockable poison which cindy stated in the dn that tactical merc will have an unblockable poison.
@frost lich
I didn't state in my earlier post that blood mage will have an artillery strike but tactical merc is and they have artillery and reroute in the same time. Isn't that unfair?

Silver Sky Magician -> RE: The risk of changing to the evolved class? (6/29/2011 8:27:28)

^

Artillery strike and reroute aren't an inherently overpowered combination. And of course there will be risks, so I'm going to wait this out for about...a month. The classes aren't going anywhere anyway.

midnight assassin -> RE: The risk of changing to the evolved class? (6/29/2011 8:28:46)

^Hmmm but still expect the worse because we don't know which class will be op but I have a feeling that tactical merc will be.

LamentationsXV -> RE: The risk of changing to the evolved class? (6/29/2011 8:33:26)

Why should it be a risk when you can just go back if you don't like it, isnce it has a credit option? It will most likely cost 50k creds or something. So what's shakin your balls? [:-]

One Winged Angel1357 -> RE: The risk of changing to the evolved class? (6/29/2011 8:47:21)

you guys are also making the assumption that all the skills are the same becuase they have the same symbol there is a chance that they used the same sysmbols but new skills to save time on that and give more time to testing

Also do keep in mind that three of Cindy's skills which are showing have been removed from that class

midnight assassin -> RE: The risk of changing to the evolved class? (6/29/2011 8:49:05)

Why waste your varium/ credits on having class change. Maybe you might accidentally choose the weakest class so its risky to change your class when delta starts and you need to think wisely. BTW this is my opinion.

King FrostLich -> RE: The risk of changing to the evolved class? (6/29/2011 8:57:58)

@lamentations:

Lol'ed when you said shaking my balls. Actually some people want to be the "IM FIRST TO EVOLVE CLASS" person and therefore when they change and happen to be out of varium or credits, well there goes the money they've earned.

Fay Beeee -> RE: The risk of changing to the evolved class? (6/29/2011 9:03:03)

Surely we have the same risk as class changing is already. May be they will have mostly new skills but they are NEW classes, so need to be a bit different.

If like me (I am a BH) and I changed to a mage, I had no idea what the skill were at that time (or how they worked). IMO This is similar thing.

AQWPlayer -> RE: The risk of changing to the evolved class? (6/29/2011 10:07:57)

This might be a risk, but if class change costs 10k then I would definitely change, despite the risks.

StriderAigis -> RE: The risk of changing to the evolved class? (6/29/2011 10:09:43)

hmmm didnt even notice those boxes

Drakadh -> RE: The risk of changing to the evolved class? (6/29/2011 10:10:43)

TLM is now my fav class cuz of Reroute :D!!!
( Hopefully I can get it for my class xD )

Sparticus -> RE: The risk of changing to the evolved class? (6/29/2011 10:43:56)

My read on the picture is both players are using the new sword but Cindy has skill points in Maul and its dark. Why use the new sword unless it was 1) just for the photo op or 2) It has a special against the boss much like frost weapons against George Lowe.

Looks like a team reroute/heal loop and wear the poor boss down. Wonder why Cindy has no boosters?

One Winged Angel1357 -> RE: The risk of changing to the evolved class? (6/29/2011 11:02:31)

well Curse makes enemies smaller so maybe they didnt want him taking up the whole screen

TurkishIncubus -> RE: The risk of changing to the evolved class? (6/29/2011 11:13:40)

Still reroute + hybrid + multi = awesome support build :P thats why most ppl think mercs will be OP

Sir Xander -> RE: The risk of changing to the evolved class? (6/29/2011 11:36:37)

If it happens I would quit. Its not like Bountys are already underpowered but merc's get the major over powered part of it and Cyber hunters probably goig to be the weakest of the three. This isnt right if Bounty's have been on the low scale for awhile and mercs STILL stay op'd.

Xx. Christian .xX -> RE: The risk of changing to the evolved class? (6/29/2011 11:50:09)

^ i dont believe that energy stun grenade will work to bh or cbh or even to a mercy with a low resistance AND bh are not underpowered they are still strong in 1vs1 (str build and tank build)

elm street -> RE: The risk of changing to the evolved class? (6/29/2011 11:54:58)

ummm my guess is that first, u have to put points into reroute and if its low in the tree that should take away alot, not to mention when someone is hitting high 20's max.. reroute wont do much and reroute will probably have a non support req to help those without focus and just spam support [:)]

Xx. Christian .xX -> RE: The risk of changing to the evolved class? (6/29/2011 12:11:01)

on the mercys i predicted that this will be the skills

-heal
-double strike
-hybrid
-field commander
-intimidate
-artillery strike
-surgical strike
-maul
-atom smasher
-blood shield

so thats 10 SKILLS

added skills:

-poison grenade
-reroute

i think this skills are going to be removed or already been removed

-berserk (NO!! STR BUILD!!!)
-bunker buster (NO MORE TECH BUILD)

what do u guys think

Sparticus -> RE: The risk of changing to the evolved class? (6/29/2011 12:27:05)

I think:

Maul level 4 for the stun= 18eng
Double Strike level 1 = 15eng
Sidearm = Free
Double Strike level 1 = 15eng
AUX(possible Rage AUX) FTW = Priceless

Total energy used 48 (less if you have reroute)

STR Builds are not dead, just have to alter your build and routine a bit....
