~Stream of Conscious~

My thoughts of you are like the sea,
a watery lake of flowing dreams,
They drift gently,
undisturbed, and
very easily.
I am lifted high by thoughts of you.
In the full light of Moon you draw me close,
into your heart,
within your arms, and
never depart.
I learn to fly by thoughts of you.
In the radiance of Sunlight you restore my spirit,
and I am forced to sing,
inspired to dance, to
greet the dawn of coming Spring.
I conquer the skies by thoughts of you.
Inside memories of you,
I find a sanctuary of solace,
where my heart no longer pounds.
Within visions of you,
I find a pleasant and sacred place,
where fear is lost and courage is found.
For my thoughts of you are like the sea,
and in this constant stream of mind,
Forever will I be…
