Many people, myself included, sometimes do not understand some of the abbreviations used in the discussions on the forums. If we were to add a glossary/dictionary to the beginning of each forum, as a sticky, we could allow people to add abbreviations as the come about with a compiled list in the first post. This will help for a better understanding of the forums and a drop in post saying "what does [abbreviation] mean?".

As long as it's forum abbreviations, that probably wouldn't be too hard.

The number of abbreviations for any individual game, however, are downright staggering, and people tend to make up new ones on a regular basis. It'd be hard to keep up to date, and the question of which ones would be "official" and which ones aren't would be a problem, as well.

Like you said it would be difficult to keep up to date, but as the question arrises, they could be submitted. I understand it's a staggering task, but it would be exceptionally helpful.

As a note AQ DF and MQ have Abbreviations lists in the guides section, perhaps a a link to the the relevant thread in either the rules or DF's case the FAQ would be a means of alleviating some of this problem a bit. AQW HS and ED are currently out of luck though
