Weapon/ Items drop down feature.

Basically since older items are useless in competitive competing, there should be a hand-down feature to other sub accounts created under the master. This would follow the pattern of elder sibling when they grow out of their clothes, items or anything, the parent would just hand them down to the next sibling. I think this would preserve the value of the item. I think this would be a fun varium feature or credit. What do you think?

*This is already posted in Suggestions, but nice to see what the Epic Duel community thinks too.

Angels Holocaust -> RE: Weapon/ Items drop down feature (7/20/2011 18:19:19)

This idea was suggested before and it will never be implemented because the Devs will lose profit.

i like it.
maybe i can give beta weps to my alt or something.

Epic Pwnser -> RE: Weapon/ Items drop down feature (7/20/2011 18:22:30)

I would like this feature, but would I be able to pass the weapon back up the family? I wouldn't like this to cost varium or credits though. That's asking for too much.

I think that if an idea will a) make the game more balanced or b) make ED less profitable, it has about a 4% chance of being implemented.

Otherwise, though, it's another great idea that, sadly, will only remain an ED suggestion spectre.

I remember when Class Change feature was implemented, at the time, there were no sub accounts. Now with sub accounts, we have lower class change. If players have invested quite a bit of monies, this should be added.

The options remaining is sitting in the inventory, or selling it at a drastically reduced rate.

Hopefully this could consider this as a added feature.

My meaning on the cost is a "License" fee to allow to Drop items down your sub-account tree. Once you are able to obtain the card, you are allowed to transfer items around.

There would need to be certain provisions so people dont abuse the inventory spaces. Maybe once you drop down, the item cannot be returned back to the previous accounts.

My apology on the double post, there was a post prior, but it is now gone.

Wraith -> RE: Weapon/ Items drop down feature (7/20/2011 18:32:23)

I would send my halloween cannons to my a;t/friends account.

Firewallblast -> RE: Weapon/ Items drop down feature (7/20/2011 18:41:57)

I would just buy everything my alt needs and give it to him I love it.

Yo son -> RE: Weapon/ Items drop down feature (7/20/2011 18:45:50)

Yeah awesome idea; amazingly I never used the beta weapons, because the other weapons was always stronger; I brought it at the last moment, because some game developers knows how to make something sound really epic! I don't have any use for it, ever since beta that I brought it, I haven't used it as a major weapon for my character; I would really love to give it to my other account.

But this idea will never be implement lol, like angel said; less profit for the Devs.

Elf Priest JZaanu -> RE: Weapon/ Items drop down feature (7/20/2011 18:59:59)

This poses a problem for the game, what does a player do with items that are past their usefulness. With firm rules, I think this feature will invite more players to play knowing their items will never get truly outdated if they manage their sub accounts wisely.

Many of our subaccounts are non-varium or varium in another class, so majority of the slots have no uses.

If one account (main) invest so much money into the game, the game should be responsible enough to let that player full enjoy the item throughout their game experience.

If Artix/ED actually feels this is not a step-up for a true usable feature and thinks this will lessen, their profits, I would be sadden. Many of the elder players have spent hundreds to thousands of dollars in this game, I think this is a positive step.

pistol star -> RE: Weapon/ Items drop down feature (7/20/2011 19:02:13)

I support this. But the Devs would loose money

redxtra -> RE: Weapon/ Items drop down feature (7/20/2011 19:03:45)
