Third Eye -> Heal or Kill? (7/24/2011 20:16:01)

Hey forumers, this topic just came to my mind and thought it would be a fun discussion.

Anyway, while in battle there are always risks that we take. Number one on this list is the option to "heal or kill". If you're in this situation, what do you do more often? Heal to avoid being killed or being 'crit killed' or kill and risk the chance of blocking or deflecting?

Easy, if they have some kind of blood just or frenzy I would go for the kill. Otherwise, I always heal.

From a TM's perspective:
It's heal first if I have the skill ready (not on cooldown), or if the skill is on cooldown and I have no boosters, it would be for the kill. Usually a rage bludgeon if using a +5 focus build.
Why would you risk getting yourself killed when you can heal?

There are situations if you have low defence or res and you come against someone with str build and Bloodlust. If you think you can KO them on the spot, then do it. If you you heal, you might get 2 turned right after because the bloodlust heals up their hp above the killing point.

And then there's the frenzy, where it's self healing, with the damage added on top of that.

Kill if I have an Unblockable Skill or Weapon, Heal if not.

if its been a fair fight no blocks crits whatever i always go for the kill with my strongest attack avalible(Aux or Zerker most of the time) if there have been alot of blocks or crits i go for heal

By killing means by healing since i'm a bounty hunter.

Heal. That next attack could be blocked or deflected. Or even Critical Deflected... So, in these situations. If I am able to... it's always healing. THEN killing. [;)]

Heal usually. obviously id go for the kill though if it doesn't look like id benefit from healing.

I usually heal. With the luck factor, blocks, deflecs.. I don't take chances.

If I knew I can kill with SC and I have the energy for SC, I'll take kill any day. Because, SC also heals. :3

EpicDuel is a site that holds fights that end very quickly. That being said I will simply end the enemy so they wont be irritated.

My favorite thing to do was healing in these situations , but now i have to break this ahbbit and go for the kill, I;ve found it's now better to take the smaller risk of killing your oppenet then heal and alow them to comeback in a variety of diffrent lucks...

I'll give an example,
Once i could of finished this BH with a blockable but i thought of hes a BH hell proberly block so I healed so i could use a non blockable in two turns, Then he crit and gained alot of health to BL but still enough to be killed but i was on very low health and could not spare another turn so i striked and blocked... and he killed me.

It might of been better if i just tried to kill instead of heal and let him have his turn is hes blocked and try agian.
It's hard to tell what to do these days but now i have to say taking the risk has it's benefits. (to my unliking)
