sleddyboy3 -> IP banned? (7/31/2011 9:12:07)

I would just like to know whether I'm banned or not..

All of my AE accounts are still active.

I'm currently vacationing in China (will be back to the US in 2 weeks)

The only thing is, yesterday, I could access the forums and all the other game pages, and now I can't at all?

They did change to domain to http://epicduel.artix.com
If you still have trouble
try going to the home page and click the play there. You will need to clear your cache.

Good Luck

Fay

Nope, I had to use a proxy to even post this thread..

Oh, just so you know, I'm getting

I don't believe Chinese IP addresses are by default blocked ... I would know, I live there. :P It's possible the government has decided for some reason that AE is 'objectionable' and thus blocked the site.

Is the error message popping up instantly or after a delay?

coolboypai -> RE: IP banned? (8/1/2011 3:25:26)

cant be :/
im in china now as well, and i can play all the AE games and access the forums just fine
and i dont use any proxies

could be some kind of error on your end

Well, there's a delay, but it was fine yesterday morning.

EDIT: Tried on my iPhone (1st generation, I'll be getting a new phone soon..), on the same wifi network, nothing.

Tried on my iPad 2, same result. I haven't configured this computer to use a proxy or anything..

I can't say definitively regarding your game accounts but your forum account is most certainly not IP banned. Incidentally, if you were ever banned from the forums you'd receive an email explaining that. In any case, the fact that you have trouble accessing the forums when there is no IP ban on you would suggest to me the problem is on your end, whether it's a local network block or something else. I'm afraid I don't know how much more help I can be.

Thanks Everest! Windows did a consistency check on my google chrome profile, and fixed a few errors, and now I'm good :)
