@above enhancements is how artix makes their money do you really think they will decrease the prices?

comicalbike -> RE: Varium Pricing (8/2/2011 2:26:04)

dont decrease the prices just give us more for it

Angels Holocaust -> RE: Varium Pricing (8/2/2011 2:33:55)

I honestly think that Artix Entertainment uses epicduel to generate their lost profit. Think about it, there are three games and that's Adventure Quest, Dragonfable, and Mechquest. All three of the games don't help the game make money after the player has bought an upgrade there. So how will they continue to make money? Off of aqworlds, which is impossible, now with epicduel, herosmash, and aqworlds combined they can make up for their lost profit. That's how I see it.

No wonder the prices are unreasonable . I'm pretty sure that the paying customers only spending $25-30 to ED .

The Death Trap -> RE: Varium Pricing (8/2/2011 14:04:23)

I think that we should get like 20k varium for every 50$

Cinderella -> RE: Varium Pricing (8/2/2011 14:33:44)

I've had to shut down threads like this before. The thing is, we know how hard the economy is, it's really hitting indie game companies like AE hard, and it's difficult to keep prices where they are instead of raising them. I know where you're coming from, I really do, but pricing discussions are not a great thing to discuss on the forum, it's not the appropriate venue. We keep pricing discussions largely internal, so for this reason, I'm locking this up.
