GreatWarrior08 -> Classes After This Week's Update (8/4/2011 1:44:32)

Who's next in Line to becoming a supreme Nw?

Bot builds will disappear soon, so does that mean Bh will take over considering massacre is getting buffed ( I Heard maybe false)
Or will it be some other Classes Not sure about Mages though they might still be in the bottom list :l

I think that the Old Smoke poison and massacre is going to be happening Nw? Who agrees?

Merged Threads and changed the Title to prevent confusion. ~Lectrix

comicalbike -> which class will be the best after nerf (8/4/2011 3:23:06)

could be mage

Yo son -> RE: which class will be the best after nerf (8/4/2011 3:33:30)

still TLM, and support mages maybe. But still TLM, evening with the nerfing of bots, tanking is still effective; and Strength TLM didn't really have any affect from this update.

FrostWolv -> RE: which class will be the best after nerf (8/4/2011 3:35:50)

^ still TLM Nerf in Double strike wont affect them at all
CH will be interesting too

voidance -> RE: which class will be the best after nerf (8/4/2011 3:43:41)

How about......we wait to see what happens instead of speculating on limited information.

LunarWarlord -> RE: which class will be the best after nerf (8/4/2011 3:48:02)

Mages will be.

TurkishIncubus -> RE: which class will be the best after nerf (8/4/2011 5:25:17)

Massacre + Shadow arts are both useless skills now i see Hunter at bottom.

TLM = Fast wins
Mage = High Ratio

i think it will be

TLM(str)>TM(supp)>BM(supp)>Merc(idk)>CH(supp or str)>BH(supp or str)

Ice wolf X -> RE: Classes After This Week's Update (8/4/2011 5:38:06)

I guess mages will be the big winners of this release, support mages specifically, tho that tanking builds will be gone, I think they will redominate this game, also TLM [:D]

Calogero -> RE: Classes After This Week's Update (8/4/2011 5:40:30)

well I myself can't wait to see how my very very high dex overload build will be as a BM after the update
I allready hit like 45 + rarely stun on TLM's

Please excuse me. I disagree.
If Bounty Hunter and opponent have comparable Dexterity and both get smoked, the Shadow Arts skill is a huge bonus.
Yes, sure, it depends a bit on luck. But its still there.
I remember 2v2 fights where that evil SA blocked me out, although i had more Dex than the Hunter (both smoked) and donated me a loss.
Its more than 50% chance, that SA saves the Hunters day [:)]

TurkishIncubus -> RE: Classes After This Week's Update (8/4/2011 6:20:26)

^ Shadow arts has 42 supp req which means other builds different than supp build will be less stronger to max it.

I want to give an example Str BH(A) vs Str BH(B) , lets say A has maxed shadow arts which means it should have 42 base supp , and B use lvl 2 Shadow arts with 25 supp that means B has an advantage of 17 stats , if we say B gived all of his 17 stats to dex that means B will have 8,5+2% =10,5% shadow arts + B will have much higher connect chance and much higher defense.

thats why i say Shadow arts is useless , instead of increasing SA with high supp req just give those supp stats in to dex and you will be more stronger.

Also think that 5 focus is gone so the only way to use SA is a supp build and with supp build blocking is not much important.

zenix -> RE: Classes After This Week's Update (8/4/2011 6:22:37)

^
I see... i wasnt talking about max-SA though.
Ah, well, i dont want argue.
Thanks a lot for clearing your point out [:)]

Sure :)!

The thing i dont get is why wont they nerf Str builds for tech merc but nerf Bots?

And i thought making a rank ( No offense to others ) Are better than having str builds and having unfair fights? But i still think that tank builds are still better .

I mean just need to get Maxed hybrid which is the Main thing..?

But yea Please could someone explain why they want to nerf? everyone tells there own story which doesn't really satisfy me at all and i think that if the dev's answer it be much better. Thx

MrBones -> RE: Classes After This Week's Update (8/4/2011 8:17:57)

Well I have never been a mage. I guess its time to try it. I am gonna spam the crap out support. You guys better watch it -.-

altimatum -> RE: Classes After This Week's Update (8/4/2011 9:12:21)

We're going to see a lot of new competitive builds so it could be anyone...

-5 focus could still lead the game with less users
-Str builds deal less damage with their % moves but still can rack up damage
-Support builds have always been competitive
-Support Ch could finally be 1v1 material with high dex, emp, and a high heal while utilizing static charge for a mini-loop while str Ch could use malf, static, proceed to poison and massacre-at least it sounds like that in theory if they don't miss
-Caster builds could be a wild card what with their new buff
-2v2 will be really changed since all classes can get results from multi attack
-Passive play could make it's debut

I think that covers the list of builds affected... this is the update everyone's been waiting for and if they keep it up, it'll feel close to beta times.

Mage and Bounty Hunters, for high ratio.

XD i like its look :P

endtime -> RE: Classes After This Week's Update (8/5/2011 0:20:12)

The meta builds will be:
Support & Strength TLM
Strength BH
Support Tech Mage

Cyber Hunters will still be weak. A Support Cyber Hunter wouldn't work well because their only strong attack would be their auxiliary--Support Tech Mages have deadly aim and Support TLMs have Artillery. Plus a Support build usually has low Dexterity, thus the fact that static charge is blockable, makes the move unreliable on Support Cyber Hunters. Also, Strength CHs would be weak since Malfunction does not increase accuracy, and thus a Str CHs strikes would be very vulnerable to blocks.

edwardvulture -> RE: Classes After This Week's Update (8/5/2011 0:23:24)

You know who always wins? the NPC farmer ^^

Midnightsoul -> RE: Classes After This Week's Update (8/5/2011 1:45:44)

@endtime
but wat if the str CH had decent dex? like 60-70 dex? it wouldnt be that bad, especially if it had assault bot...
