Try i re~sizing software, like Gimp. Or a photo editing software. I checked the size in paint. It looks a little tall in the forums, but it says 500x100 on paint.. Did you get your signature tested in the Signature & Avatar testing thread? Try testing it there. @Below Oop..sorry :)

^ I think he's worried about his signature's file size, which is 111.17KB. I cut it down to 26.56KB by changing its extension from .png. to .jpg ( link). If you want to reduce the file size of a PNG image, that's probably the first thing you should try.

You can open the image in Paint, use "Save As" and change the "Save as type:" to "JPEG (.jpg;.jpeg;.jpe;.jfif)". Other editing/manipulation programs like GIMP also let you change the quality when saving an image to better control the file size.

It's a JPEG now, but there's no difference in the file size.

If you save it as a .jpg via an editing program the file size should drop significantly. I had no trouble reducing your image's file size that way. It doesn't change if you simply alter the extension of the image within your hard drive browser, if that's how you did it.

No, I changed it to a .jpg when I re-saved it and it uploaded as a JPEG. EDIT: Thanks Stray for the help!
