I just looked at how many topics there are, and there are 82 pages of different topics. I for one do not want to have to go through 82 pages of questions to look if my question has already been asked, and I do not think anyone else wants to do that. I suggest getting rid of this rule.

That rule is designed to prevent members from asking the same question when there's an answer to it two or three threads down the page. If a question's been answered on February 17th, we're not going to delete a new thread asking the same question. :P

The rule isn't more specific for the same reason; it's more of a general reminder to look through some threads before asking a question, especially if the question is related to a new releases. Also, thank you for mentioning the Q&A is now 82 pages long, that... probably shouldn't be the case.

Also there is no reason to go through that many pages just check your profile and click "view threads only" next to the "Most Recent Posts" button and it will bring up any threads you have and you can easily click it to find if you have any responses.

Ok good to hear that the rule is a little loose and just ment for looking a few pages back.

Thank you for that information, but I think you misunderstood my suggestion. I was implying when you want to ask a question, not when you look for an answer.

Thats ok I did not know that though so thanks for the Info anyways. Well, I guess this suggestion got shot down, so if anyone wants they can lock it or delete it.
