I'm thinking of changing my forum name. After five or six years of using this name across several websites, the genericness of it has slowly drained my liking for it. I've been changing it in as many websites as I can (of course, this isn't always possible) to a new handle, a more personal one. and I've been curious about some of the effects of it in this forum.
In the FAQ sticky, it says that Seahawk is in charge of this, and we only get one name change. What I want to know is, what happens after the name is changed? Do you get an email about it, do you have to reconfirm anything, stuff like that?
