For a game feature, would blood splashing to and from people degrade or upgrade the gameplay? I think it would, considering players are soldiers in a futuristic age, using devastating weapons in the most proficient of ways to kill each other. Without blood yes it does make the game appropriate for children but what do they think of when hitting their friends with knives then? Its in you and it comes out sometimes. To give the game an edge on intensity EpicDuel had blood spout from players before. It had a feeling of strange 'excitement' but a sinister aspect to fighting.

AQWPlayer -> RE: Blood (8/20/2011 20:41:59)

It would degrade the game. By the way AE games are for educational purposes so NO.

Stabilis -> RE: Blood (8/20/2011 20:45:21)

Hm I didn't know that [&:]

theBatMan -> RE: Blood (8/20/2011 20:46:36)

Educational?
You mean promoting math and stuff?
Or are you talking about marketing?

One Winged Angel1357 -> RE: Blood (8/20/2011 21:27:05)

there has been a decrease in "bloody" weapons since the merge so im thinking its an AE no go kind of thing

CivicChaos -> RE: Blood (8/20/2011 22:54:19)

Why would a 8 year old child want to see themself getting stapped with a sword and blood squirting out of his face.

I think he would be scared.

Stabilis -> RE: Blood (8/20/2011 23:01:31)

^ Imagine what that would scare a kid from doing while playing ED lol

T29060 -> RE: Blood (8/20/2011 23:04:02)

I dont think that AE would introduce blood cuz i mean, theyre making a game called pony vs pony...

IsaiahtheMage -> RE: Blood (8/20/2011 23:14:56)

Yes. I agree. Lets have a kids game with people smashing each other over the head with clubs with blood squirting everywhere. I really would like to see how a parent would react to their child playing a game with a grown man smashing a woman over the head with a club making blood squit our of her head killing her instantly. Good idea! ;)

T29060 -> RE: Blood (8/20/2011 23:21:52)

^lol

Stabilis -> RE: Blood (8/20/2011 23:22:34)

In that sense I wish they'd raise the age group of the community~

IsaiahtheMage -> RE: Blood (8/20/2011 23:46:08)

@greenrain13 They would then have to seperate from AE. After all AE is a kids gaming company am I right? I mean all of their games are kid approved and cindy said that as long as they are merged with AE they cant change the rating.

Stabilis -> RE: Blood (8/20/2011 23:48:10)

Well that's socks for me

aqwshadowking14 -> RE: Blood (8/21/2011 1:12:33)

Isn't there blood every time you crit?

RageSoul -> RE: Blood (8/21/2011 2:00:52)

^ That's just the text format , what they meant was oozing blood .

beastmo -> RE: Blood (8/21/2011 2:04:51)

I love blood

kwj3 -> RE: Blood (8/21/2011 2:18:39)

^ lol Blood much?
AE is chained to ED they can't go add blood in this game until AE lets ED go her own way.

BLOOD BATH TOURNAMENT YEAAAAH

T29060 -> RE: Blood (8/21/2011 2:48:12)

ED could make an excuse:"its not blood its tomato sauce"

MrBones -> RE: Blood (8/21/2011 15:13:21)

Just make an option: Blood ON/OFF.

Or put the blood by default if the player is legal age.

ShadowQupid -> RE: Blood (8/21/2011 21:23:45)

Don't you have to be 13 to play any of the AE games?

Exactly and by the time you're 13 I'm pretty sure you watch horror movies or sneak into them at the movie theater soo...

I don't see why not.

But it would be kinda weird considering not much other games with FULL armor invested characters squirt out blood when hit. (Talking about computer games, not Halo or COD)

IsaiahtheMage -> RE: Blood (8/21/2011 22:31:22)

@ShadowQupid You do? I thought you had to be that age to just use chat. Not to play. Besides do you think everyone is as old as they say they are? Their are a big majority of players under 13 who play AE games I can asure you.

DillBagel -> RE: Blood (8/22/2011 3:53:52)

ED was originally a T rated game. You can thank AE for it becoming child's play...
I loved when the 13+ was required as consent, there weren't so many babies. :3
@AQWplayer Educational? You've got to be kidding me. Education is in no way part of the games. xD
