-Nearly five years after the fall of Clown the Jester and Gray Silhouette-

I ran across the roof of the skyscraper, preparing to jump the the next building.
I ran to the side, and jumped, feeling the wind in my hair, and my dress billowing in the wind.
I landed smoothly.
I jumped to the next building, and the next, and the next, until I was at the fair grounds.
I hopped leapt off a small house onto the ground.
Quickly, I ran to the group of people, disappearing into the crowd, blending in.

I looked over my shoulder.
It appeared my pursuer had lost me. Or they were hiding.
I walked to the front of the crowd to see a female newscaster giving a report.

“And in other news, the citizens of SuperCity are gathering outside of the city’s limits, celebrating the upcoming reopening of the City.” The reporter said. “The City is scheduled to officially open later tonight; coinciding with the 5th anniversary of the start of the infamous Chaos Riots where close to 1.3 million people would lose their lives to the notorious Clown the Jester and his Chaos Carnival. Many people have complained that the reopening of the City on the anniversary of the day it was nearly destroyed is insensitive to the effected survivors and the families that lost loved ones to the riots. However due to pressure from the public to open the town as soon as possible, the Government have decided opening tomorrow would continue as scheduled. It was rumored that after the additional damage to the city during the Modo Incident that the Government would abandon the entire project, however, thanks to another generous donation by an anonymous donator who digitally transferred 8.5 billion dollars to the City’s Restoration Budget, we could continue. This is still unconfirmed if it was the same anonymous donator who transferred 8.5 billion dollars to the City’s Rebuilding Budget at the beginning of the City’s restoration.”

Tch.
And they wondered what was wrong with people.
I walked through the crowd, wary of my surroundings.
I carefully watched everyone, looking at their behaviors, noticing even the slightest change.
Gray Silhouette taught me this.
Always be aware of the enemy, notice everything.
Never compromise, never back down, never surrender.
Always fight.

I walked out of the crowd, looking around.
My pursuer was nowhere in sight.
Quickly, I ran to an alleyway.
I could fight anyone in an alley, with the enclosed walls perfect for jumping.
I heard movement behind me.

Hssssssssssssss...

Reptilian...Sounded large.
I turned around.
Nothing.
I was getting worried.
Lately things in the universe have gone...Wrong.
I just hoped my predictions were incorrect.

My right leg went numb.
I struggled to stand up.

Hssssssssssssss...

My other leg went numb, and I crashed to the ground, landing on my face.

"Show yourself!" I demanded.

"Hee hee hee..."

My left arm went numb.

"SHOW YOURSELF!"

"Hee hee hee...You can't ssstop usss..."

My right arm went numb.

My teeth extended and I hissed.

"Oh! Ssso you're a vampire...Hee hee hee..."

I began to see an image in front of me.
No...
It was my pursuer.
A Nure Onna.
Above the waist, they were women, but below...The were snakes.

"You can't ssstop usss...No matter how hard you try...The Master will have his plansss come true...Hee hee hee..."

Faster than a blink, the Nure Onna lashed out at me, barely touching my back.
My back went numb.

"Don't worry...You're almossst done...And then we will take care of that pessst...Blue Gear...Hee hee hee..."

She lashed at my head.
And I blacked out.

--------------------------------
-Two hours after the Nure Onna attack-

I knew it.
I knew exactly what was happening.
I had to keep them away from Blue Gear, but he couldn't know anything about this.
No one could.

-

I worked for Unumulta, headed by Wiiman Timemage...But only I knew his real name.
Everyone else called him Mr. Ice. Of course, that was his secret identity.
He realized what was happening faster than I did.
All I did was prove it correct.

The venom from a Nure Onna wears off rather quickly, thirty minutes at least.
I had to run to the Unumulta headquarters to tell Wiiman about what had happened.
He wrote a file, which was my new mission.
This was to be highly classified.
We burned my fingertips, so as to leave no evidence, and sprayed my hair with a chemical he invented to prevent it from falling out, again, so there was no evidence.
We erased every file about me in every computer system.
No, according to the government, I didn't exist.
I was classified.
As was my mission.

-

I watched Blue Gear walk to the mall entrance, and unlock it with some strange looking device...a key of some sort, it seemed.
I hid behind some bushes in front of the mall, with my cloaking device activated.
I was completely invisible.
Only one person would know I was there, Gray Silhouette.
Hopefully, Blue Gear wasn't as trained as he was.
I waited about half an hour, just crouched behind the bushes on the hot cement, the sun glaring down.
Three men drove up in motorcycles, the engines purring.
They didn't look like monsters...better not to kill them...
They hopped off their bikes and headed to the entrance, talking all the way.
One threw a brick at the glass, shattering it.
They all walked in.
Now, my job began.

A monster was bound to attack.
Why they wanted Blue Gear was unknown, but I guessed it was for their master.
What they would do to him, I had no idea, but I had to protect Gray Silhouette's son.
The ground shook.
Either the monster was huge...Or it came from the ground.

The ground exploded in front of me, sending dust flying, blinding me momentarily.
I shut my eyes.
When I opened them, I saw a creature coming out of a hole in the ground.
It was made entirely of rock, yet it moved with ease...
It was a Balboa.
Creatures made of rock, animated by magic.

It grumbled, and looked directly at me.
It had two holes in the top rock, which I assumed was it's head.
Inside the holes were to glowing pieces of coal.
I assumed these were the eyes.

GRMRMBLMRGL.

Obviously, it didn't like me.
It ran towards me at incredible speed, and I was unprepared.
It rammed it's sharp rock hand into my face, cutting my face, nearly to the skull.
Now I was mad.
I drew excalibur, and prepared to strike the beast.
It jumped, much too high for a rock monster, and landed on the ground.
A powerful shockwave echoed from where it hit the ground, knocking me to the ground.
It lunged at me, but I parried, and struck the monster in it's single weak point:
Between the head rock and the body rock.

URRNGHRRRR.

And with that, it's ice covered body, fell to the ground and shattered.
I turned to look at the entrance of the mall.
Blue Gear was leaving from a side entrance, going the opposite direction of me.
Thank the maker.
My face was bleeding blue blood heavily.
I needed help.

--------------------------------
-Three hours after Balboa attack-

I looked in the mirror.
My scar looked horrible.
I had managed to get to Wiiman before serious damage could be done, and he helped fix it.
He said the scar would go away with time.
To help protect me during my mission, he said he'd send some gifts...
The doorbell rang.
That was fast.

I left the bathroom and opened the door.
A man stood there, holding a blue box.

"Package for a...red?"

"Yes, that's me." I replied.

He handed me the box.

"Have a nice day." He said.

I laughed as he left.
Have a nice day...Ha!
I walked to the table with the package, setting it down.
I cut it the tape with a nail, and opened it.

I pulled out some clothing, with a note attached to it.
I read it.

"This is the Last Fantasy armor. It is crafted from specially made fibers that make it virtually indestructible, yet able to bend and move with ease. Inside the box, you will find a helmet with a red visor. This helmet is completely indestructible, and able to withstand the temperature of the sun. The visor is loaded with information of every monster ever seen, and it has a zoom function, thermal and night visions, and it will tell you the weakness of monsters. I have also put in a jet pack, and two plasmatrons. Positive and negative. you will figure out these weapons in time. Use these wisely! ~Mr. Ice"

I put the armor on, and lifted the helmet from the box.
I put it on, the visor jumping to life.
I looked into the mirror.
A small box jumped up from the visor, reading:

"Vampire. Weakness: Soul destruction. Weak point: Chest"

This was a useful machine.
I strapped on the jet pack, and picked up the plasmatrons.

I was no longer Lady Zafara.
I was now... the Red Death.

Arachnid -> RE: (HS) Classified (9/10/2011 13:48:42)

-Two hours before midnight-

I opened the door to the bar.
The wooden seats were covered with dust, and a smoke cloud hung in the air.
People were talking, some playing pool in the corner.
I walked up to the bar and took a seat.
The bartender walked up to me, eyeing me suspiciously.

"What ye be havin' fur a drink?" He asked in a baritone voice.

"Just get me some water." I replied.

"Yes'm."

He walked away to fill my cup.
I heard a bang as the bar door opened and closed.
The bartender placed my drink in front of me, with a look of fear.
He quickly scuffled away.

"HEY YOU." A booming voice said from behind me. "YOU'RE IN MY SEAT."

I picked up my cup and drank a sip.
The person knocked the cup out of my hand, and it shattered on the ground.
I signaled the bartender for another.

"MOVE!"

I swiveled my chair around to face the voice.
He was huge, easily seven feet tall, and all muscle.
So of course, I gave him a rude hand gesture, then turned back around.
Someone put some money into the jukebox, and chose a song.

My drink was on the table.
The bartender was nowhere to be found.
I picked up my drink to take a sip.
I saw the man's hand out of the corner of my eye.
Instantly I put my drink down, and backflipped over the man's head.
I kicked the back of his head on my way down.
I landed behind him, kicking his feet out from under him.
I punched him in the spine, knocking him into the table.
I ran up his now bent over back, kicked him in the head, and jumped off.
He attempted to grab me, but I aimed my hand at him, and fired a pulse beam from my wrist.
His body went stiff as electricity arced through his body.
I landed in front of him.
He groaned, and collapsed onto his face, unmoving.
I turned towards the bar.

I picked up my drink.
I heard the loading of guns behind me.
I turned around.

"Yeh beat up the boss!" One man said.

"Yer gonna pay fur that!" Another said.

"Let's shoot 'er!"

"I don't want any trouble." I replied, sipping some of my drink.

"Well trouble's what yur gettin' missy!"

"She's jus' a lil' girl! She's not tough!"

"Let's shoot 'er!"

"Now, now. No need to get ruffled up about this." I said to them, waving my hands.

"Yeh hurt our boss!"

"Do ya know what he'll do to you?!"

"He'll grind you up, and eat ye as a sammich!"

"He'll bite your legs off!"

"Let's shoot 'er!"

"He's your boss? Not very tough is he?" I replied.

"AYE! YOU INSULTED ALL OF US!"

"HOW DARE YOU?!"

"YOU'LL PAY FUR THAT!"

"LET'S GET 'ER BOYS!"

"LET'S SHOOT 'ER!"

Some ran at me with knives, or just their fists, others aimed at me with their various guns, preparing to fire.
I put my drink down, and got off my barstool.
I cracked my knuckles.

"Bring it on." I said.

I grabbed one of them by the arm, throwing him into another.
They began to fire.
The bullets bounce off of my armor and helmet.

"Our guns won't work against 'er!"

I walked towards one man armed with a foot long knife.
He dropped the knife and punched my helmet.
I grabbed his wrist.

"You shouldn't hit girls." I said.

I uppercutted him, and he went flying through the cieling.
Bullets were deflecting off of my armor, flying everywhere, occasionally hitting a man.
I aimed my hand at a group of men shooting me.
A beam shot from my wrist, exploding in front of them.

Another man ran from behind me with a knife, yelling.
He tried to stab my armor, and the knife bounced off, knocking him onto his back.
I giggled and turned around.
My visor lit up.

"Shapeshifter. Weakness: Electricity surge. Weak point: Head, back, neck."

I stepped on his left leg, breaking it.
He screamed in pain.
I stepped on his right leg, breaking it.
He glared at me with hatred in his eyes.

"Mortale non potest stare nobis!" He spat at me.

"Translation: You cannot stop us, mortal!"

"Oh, but I can."

Men were still shooting at my back.
I sighed.

"Give me a sec to finish them, alright? I'll get to killing you later."

"Ut veniam ad vos mors mortale!"

"Translation: May death come to you, mortal!"

"That's not very nice." I replied.

"WHATSA MATTER, GIRL?! AFRAID OF US MEN?!" One of the goons yelled from behind me.

I turned around.

"Not even in your dreams." I replied.

I pushed a button on my helmet, and metal wings popped out the top.
My jetpack jumped to life.
I dashed towards them at a supersonic speed, smashing into the one that insulted me.
He went flying, and smashed into a wall.
I flew towards two more, who were running away.
I grabbed them by the back of their necks, throwing them behind the bar.
They smashed into some drinks, shattering glass.

Another man pulled out an RPG, and shot it at me.
Smoke surrounded me.
As the smoke cleared, I could see his surprised expression.
I pushed a button on my wrist, and a rocket, about two inches long, popped out.
A small red button popped up behind it.

"This...Is what a real rocket can do."

I pushed the small red button.
The rocket flew towards him.

KKKAAAAABOOOOOOOOOOMMM!

As the smoke cleared, I could see that one fourth of the building was gone.
The bartender appeared from nowhere, aiming some strange looking weapon at me.
My visor lit up.

"Drakel Scientist. Weakness: Blood loss, Dragonbane. Weak point: Head. Deactivate shapeshift device?"

"Uhh...Sure?"

"Enemy shapeshift device deactivated."

The man slowly morphed into a strange dragon-human hybrid. A Drakel.

"Magister percutiam vos! Vincere potes!" It hissed at me.

"Translation: The Master will defeat you! You cannot win!"

"I can win. I will win." I replied.

"Tunc fata signatum."

"Translation: Then your fate is sealed."

The Drakel seemed...Disappointed.
He aimed the device at me.
I dashed towards hit faster than he could pull the trigger.
I crashed into him, running us both into a wall.
I got off of him. He had fainted.

I turned around to see where the shapeshifter was.
He wasn't where I left him.

GRRRRRRRRR...

I looked around.
A lion was growling at me.
The shapeshifter.

RRROOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAARRR!

It lunged at me.
I shot straight up through the cieling, going higher and higher.
I stopped at ten thousand yards.
I launched down, head first, the speed of gravity and my jetpack accelerating my speed.

"Approaching terminal velocity."

I flipped over, preparing to land on my feet.
I crashed down, smashing the ground with my fist.
A shockwave came out, knocking the Lion into the wall next to the Drakel.
I dashed towards it, grabbing it by the scruff of the neck.

"Non sum tibi quam infirmissimos." It growled.

"Translation: I am not as weak as you think."

He slowly morphed into a mouse, scurrying away, squeaking all the time.

"Gah!" I yelled in anger.

My jetpack deactivated, and the wings popped back into my helmet.
I walked over to the Drakel.

It had awoken, blood coming from its mouth.
It coughed up some blood.
It blinked, and it's eyes seemed to...change.

"Nunc quis magna..."

"Translation: You are the great one..."

"What? What "Great one"?" I asked.

"De prophetia veniet vera..."

"Translation: The Great Prophecy shall come true..."

"What prophecy?!"

"Donec ipsum Suspendisse...tueri..."

"Translation: You must protect...Blue Gear..."

I was silent. It coughed up more blood.
It blinked.

"Cras venenatis."

"Translation: You must win."

He blinked one last time.
He went limp, staring at the sky.
I walked to the bar, and finished my drink.
I placed the cup down, and slipped something under it.
A playing card.
The ace of hearts, with "Red Death" written on the back.
I walked out of the bar, closing the door.
And the bar collapsed.

Arachnid -> RE: (HS) Classified (10/2/2011 9:47:41)

-One hour after midnight-

I sat, crouched, on the skyscraper of Liberty.
My thermal vision was turned on.
I saw all the activity in the city.
A thug getting arrested.
A couple chatting in a coffee store.
A mother and her child, sleeping in their house.
They were all blind.

No one knew about the monsters.
Wiiman found out how they were getting here.
A portal opened up between our world, and the world of Lore.
This world had monsters everywhere, and nearly as many heroes.
I couldn't say the same for here.

The monsters were coming steadily, but Wiiman predicted they'd come faster.
What I wanted to know was why.
Why did a portal open?
Why is one master controlling all of these monsters?
And why do they want Blue Gear?

My sensor started going off.
A computerized voice said:

"Phoenix at twenty three miles per hour down West MainStreet. Predicted destination...VIP"

So I had a phoenix heading to blue gear.
I slowly stood up, and held my arms to my sides, as if to fly.
And I fell off the front of the skyscraper.
Falling felt amazing...minus the life threatening landing.
Then again, most people don't have jet packs.

"Jet pack activated" said the computerized voice.

I turned myself to intercept the Phoenix at East MainStreet.
I rounded the corner to East MainStreet.

"Prepare to land." the voice said.

The jet pack shut off, and I fell gracefully on my feet.
I saw an orange light come from the end of the street, quickly approaching.

SSSSKKKRRREEEEE!

"Phoenix. Weakness: Water. Weak point: Main body. Main weapon: Claws, beak, fire."

Alright then. Shouldn't be too hard.
I cracked my knuckles.
I looked at the speed it was flying, and the direction.
I adjusted my position accordingly, and braced for impact.

THUD!

The phoenix hit my armor at full speed.
It crashed in front of me, squawking the entire time.
I giggled as it struggle to get back on it's feet.
It looked at me with hate.

SSSKKKRRREEEEEKKKK!

The bird burst into flames.
Uh oh...
It tackled me, sending me flying backwards.
I did a back flip and slid on my feet.
I cracked my neck.

"Let's play, bird."

I ran towards the bird lightning quick, grabbing its wings.

SSSSKKKRRRE-

I punched it square in the face.
That noise was annoying.
The bird had a mischievous glow in it's eye.
Instantly, it turned to ashes.
It reformed instantly, now ablaze like a forest fire.

"How do I kill this thing?!" I yelled.

"Weakness: Water."

"Thank you!"

I grabbed the bird's beak before it could peck me.
It began to scratch at my armor with its talons.
I focused my power.
Water came out of my hands and began to spread over the bird.
Where the water went, the fire was extinguished.
The water slowly spread until the bird was fully extinguished.
The bird's head went limp in my hand.
I dropped it, and it fell to the ground, unmoving.

"Caution: VIP movement."

What?
I looked at the map inside the visor.
It looked like Blue Gear was heading to the Super City Subway Terminal in Brick Street.
If I was to enter by means of the next Subway Station along route, near an East Main Street Subway Entrance, and hide in the shadows of the tunnel, I could possibly remain out of his detection and still protect him.

"Jet pack on." I commanded.

My jet pack burst to life, and I flew down the street.

-

Minutes later I arrived at the entrance of the Subway Tunnel. I flew into, traveling the long Subway route. I descended to the ground, a forty yards distance of Blue Gear.
I scanned to pinpoint exactly where he was located.
He was in a Maintenance Room near an opening within the Subway.
I would wait back at the closest Subway Platform until Blue Gear was ready to leave.

As I exited the tunnel into the Platform, surprised by how dark it was.
“Rather Late to be waiting for a train,” a male voice said. “Not very safe at these hours.”

My eyes wandered the dim platform.

“Show yourself,” I called out, passing the benches searching for the source of the voice.

“Strange isn’t it?” the voice replied, growing closer. “A vigilante disappears for five years, thought to be dead, and apparently emerges, bringing down three Clown Boys. Why would such a man be hiding for so long?”

“I don’t know what your talking about,” I lied, following the sound of the man’s voice.

“Really?” the voice asked, obviously not fooled. “You mean you have been following one of Super City Police’s top ten wanted men. A man wanted for questioning as well as possibly killing a dozen law enforcements? A man, considered the last victim of Clown the Jester? Either you are lying or you are a moron. That is quite a difficult call. Which is it?”
"Ah, you must be Ice’s new pawn. Shame, I was rather hoping to find Gray Silhouette,”

I turned to face him. I recognized him instantly.

"Agent Boston." I said calmly.

"And who are you, I might ask?” the S.C.I.F. Agent inquired, sitting down on a bench, legs cross, hands together. “You’re obviously not S.C.I.F. and you don’t seem to be testing out a Yercom Prototype Combat Armor.”

"I am the Red Death."

“Cute, but I did not ask for your nick name. I could easily deduce such a simple puzzle from your calling card,” Agent Boston said coolly leaning forward, drawing out from his shirt pocket the ace of hearts card I left in the bar. “I want to know your real name, and why you stalking Gray Silhouette.”

“That’s classified information,” I answered, my eyes glancing at the small map in my visor.

Blue Gear was still in the Subway Supply Room. Did Agent Boston know this? How did he know I was following Gray Silhouette? How did he know of Mr. Ice?

"Classified, amusing. Your little club seems to classify anything it can. It’s missions, its equipment, even it’s hired help. Perhaps a pathetic attempt to seem like a REAL agency such as S.C.I.F. I can assure you, if you were classified, I’d be the first to know," Agent Boston smirked, replacing the card into his pocket and pulling out a H.A.L. Droid from his pocket. “For now you can hide your motives and play spy. But take a good look at the real deal. You can’t hide a secret from me. I’ll find out. Believe me I will, however I have more pressing matters than you.”

“"I have more pressing matters than you, Agent. I don't need people like you interfering with my work." I snapped back.

"Sounds to me that, you are protecting Gray Silhouette. Makes sense. Baby Sitting is usually assigned to the incompetent lap dogs. So most likely you don’t know any useful information. In such case, you’d probably be worth more to me dead than alive,” The Agent replied, standing up, and readjusted his tie. “After all, my Supervisor wanted Gray Silhouette alive. I very much doubt he needs a hindrance such as you as an additional concern.”

“And who’s this Supervisor you work for?” I asked.

Agent Boston chuckled, a small unnatural grin stretched itself across his face, and he glanced up from his device studying me.

“Most likely,” He began, placing the H.A.L. Droid back into his pocket. “The same man who you truly work for. The man who plays your Mr. Ice like a puppet.”

“That’s a lie, he would never….!” I began to yell.

“Never what?” Agent Boston interrupted. “You think your little corporation is all carrying, honest, and clean? Don’t be so naive. Once I kill you, your Mr. Ice will replace you. Its how Agencies work. They don’t play nice. They assassinate saints, topple governments, devastate cities, and lie to the people. They need to. We need to. Because the ends always justify the means.”

The Agent stood up, cracking his knuckles.

“It’s how we all have to learn in this game. Only way to survive this game. Only way to bring down the villains is to become an even more terrifying villain.” He continued, advancing towards me. “Someone who can kill a child for the good of a country. Someone who can let the heroes go down in history as the villains. Someone who can find profit from unfathomable events such as Pandora’s death, the Siege in the Park, or even a Jester killing millions of people. That’s what we are Red Death. You and I…we’re fear mongers. Its how we keep the people under control. We keep them in fear.”

"YOU FILTH!"

I lunged at him with lightning fast speed.
I punched him in the chest, sending him flying backwards into the wall.

The S.C.I.F. dropped to his knees, his face twisted in pain.

“Such strength,” the Agent marveled, pulling himself back to his feet,

"A Smasher? Interesting," Agent Boston mused, adjusting his tie back in place. “However, it does not present a problem. I’ve been trained to kill abominations such as you.”

I charged at the S.C.I.F. Agent, letting out a cry of rage. Boston swung his leg in a round house kick; the heel of his black Artimis Business shoe slamming into my helmet, knocking me off balance, before I could recover, the Agent rammed his knee into my side, knocking the wind out of me. I dropped to my knees, suppressing the pain.
That one actually hurt...
I got up, and cracked my knuckles.

"Come on, then!"

The Agent smirked swinging his fist at me, but I was ready. I dodged the swing. He swung again, slamming his elbow down on my shoulder blades with incredible force.

I gritted my teeth in pain and returned the hit, upper cutting him into the air. He flew into the air, his back slammed against the ceiling and his body dropped back to the ground, landing hard on his stomach. The Agent immediately leapt into the air, drawing out some sort of an energy weapon, and fired a bright blue beam of energy out. The beam came into contact with my helmet.

The indestructible visor remained intact, though the force of the blast threw me backwards. I slammed against the ground, my armor grinding as I slid into the opposite wall. I tried to pull myself to my feet as the Agent sprinted towards me, weapon raised. I let out a cry of pain as he stomped his shoe down at my neck, pinning me to the ground.

“Lets see how you really are,” Boston said, kicking my visor off my head. The helmet few across the room bouncing down the hallway.

“You…” Agent Boston snarled, recognizing my face, his finger tracing the scar running down his face. “You…THE VAMPIRE!”

Agent Boston remembered the night a woman disguised as Gray Silhouette broke into The Liberty Police Station. Murdering Police, S.C.I.F. Agents, good men and women. Murdered by this blood sucking ghoul. He remember trying to attack her from behind, her sharp nails slicing through his skin. He remembered screaming in pain. He remembered all his friends that died that night. All because of the woman that stood before him.

He stomped his foot on my face. He stomped again and again,

“YOU MURDERED MY FELLOW AGENTS YOU DISGUSTING CANNIBAL!” He roared, slamming his fist into my throat. “FILTHY MONSTER! I’LL DRAIN YOU OF YOUR PRECIOUS BLOOD! I’LL MAKE YOU SUFFER LIKE NEVER BEFORE!”
I grabbed his foot to stop the next blow. Immediately, I threw him into the nearest wall. He crawled out. I walked over and picked him up.

"Don't call me a cannibal...DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT IT'S LIKE?! ALWAYS WANTING TO KILL?!"

"You make it sound like you are the one who is suffering. Do you expect sympathy? You murdered my colleagues. Slaughtered them because of your lack of control!” He hissed, spitting blood into my face.

I threw him to the ground.

Agent Boston began to crawl away from me, his head bent, he tried to pull himself to his knees, only to collapse. His entire body shook in pain.

“Muh…monstrosity,” he wheezed softly, spitting out a tooth. “Mutants…all…vile nightmarish…monsters.”

He groaned in pain, his hands scrapping against the ground in a vain attempt to wriggle away.

"If anyone is the monster, it is YOU. You have NO IDEA what you could cause! Do you realize what is happening?!" I called back, advancing on the injured S.C.I.F. Agent.

Agent Boston suddenly spun around, his H.A.L. Droid in hands, and jabbed the small device under my chin.

BLZZZZZZZZZZRRRRRRRRRRRUUUUUUUUUUUUTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!

I let out a scream of pain as the device sent a powerful surge of energy through my body. I dropped to my knees, the room spinning. Agent Boston was instantly back on his feet, kicking me hard across the face. All signs of pain or weakness vanished from the S.C.I.F. Agent. A smug smirk spread across his face.

He wrapped his fingers around the back of my neck me by the neck and lifts me into the air with one hand. His fingers tightened crushing my throat in his iron grip.

“Disgusting,” he spat, drawing back out his Anti-Smasher Energizer Blaster, and pressed the barrel to the back of my skull. “Filthy mongrels! That’s what you Smashers are. Mutants. Creatures. Hybrids. Freaks….deformed monsters who terrorize the people. You will die…then your Gray Silhouette dies.”

I saw a figure emerging from out the subway tunnel, he advanced on us. Agent Boston followed my gaze and his eyes locked onto the figure before him.

"Gray!"
