DeathGuard -> Reflex Boost and Energy Shield (9/16/2011 19:49:20)

Fellow forumers that have a bh, how do you feel that aura shield and reflex boost improves with support? I ask a friend that is bh, and he said to me that it was amazing, and that it gives variety of options for builds.
So what do you guys think about this?
Please no flaming, and hope you express your opinions like civil persons[:)].

Edit:Thanks Epic for correcting my typo[:)]

Aura shield?
You mean energy shield.

It's great for BH's to do support builds since their shields increase with support.
I think it might be MIGHT BE OPed as the game goes on, but they aren't that game-breaking.

In 2v2, I can see how they can be monstrously deadly.
Reflex boost your ally, who is a support mage with already high res+E armor.

Or yourself, in combo with lvl 10 SA. So that you can block like crazy.

Edit: NP. Anytime [;)]

Actually rb and es are the things that power my build. Without it, I would not last long on a certain battle.

InceptionAE -> RE: Reflex Boost and Aura Shield (9/16/2011 22:07:23)

I have 36 supp. Level 3 shield giving 21 and reflex 31 I believe as a STR BH I simply love how they increase with support. I know that 5 focus / Support is with 8 BL and Max SA = Juggernaut ownage!

^ I agree with you.

Aere -> RE: Reflex Boost and Aura Shield (9/16/2011 23:07:32)

This is a really old strategy. I used this back in Lightmare's Support Build, back in 2010.

nico0las -> RE: Reflex Boost and Aura Shield (9/16/2011 23:55:43)

I lately used a 5 focus build with 76 support. At 5, my reflex boost boosts 44 dexterity, and energy shield boosts 28 resistance. I now use a str build with 56 support, and it still works fine.

It works well. At least we have the flexibility to go with a support build just as well as a str build. It gives us defensive ability along with offensive strengths. I think it's awesome.

Silver Sky Magician -> RE: Reflex Boost and Aura Shield (9/17/2011 1:48:23)

It's great that they scale with support; that allows bounty hunters to expand in the direction of strength, dexterity, technology or support and gives them a great variety of builds. I recall having an experimental tank build with max reflex boost and level 7 energy shield in my mid-levels. It really gave my opponents a run for their money. [&:]

It's a win :D
I just loved it when I was defensive just yesterday :3

HydroMonk -> RE: Reflex Boost and Aura Shield (9/17/2011 9:43:15)

BH with Reflex Boost runs the streets of Delta V ... BOO !!!

Wootz -> RE: Reflex Boost and Aura Shield (9/17/2011 15:36:25)

You just tolled "BOO" to every BH who is either STR or SUP or DEX.

redxtra -> RE: Reflex Boost and Aura Shield (9/17/2011 17:09:27)

ES and RB are 2 great skills but mainly ES and then also DM (defense matrix) because the raise your defenses and resistance up high. but RB and TN (technician) are killer cause it does both raise your defenses and your attack for skills so yea

endtime -> RE: Reflex Boost and Energy Shield (9/17/2011 17:40:48)

Because only shields improve with support on BHs, this makes Support BHs underpowered compared to Supp Mage or TLM, who have offensive support moves (malfunction and artillery strike). Shields aren't that great due to rage and the fact that an entire turn, without gaining rage, is wasted.

Retrosaur -> RE: Reflex Boost and Energy Shield (10/16/2011 19:27:25)

Totally agree with endtime.
