I'm new to Pony Vs Pony, and I'm having trouble working out how to play it/get the game to do what I want it to do.

From what I know already, you have to drag the balls/gems around to make lines which then dissapear.

i keep clicking on the various ones but all they do is go "Ping!".

What an I doing wrong please?

There is an in-game tutorial which to access you need to lose a battle. Once you lose there will be a button saying "See Tutorial", click it then before your next battle starts the tutorial will pop up.

Can anyone find any other references to MLP in PVP other than the name?

1. Red Velvet. Reference to Velvet Remedy, part of main cast of Fo:E?
2. Flowing Locks and Flowing Tail. Clear reference to Princess Celestia and Luna.

You cannot battle strong opponents in normal battles so if you have high level friends, you could challenge them and make the battle challenging.
