voidance -> Seasonal Rare Sellbacks (9/23/2011 23:06:09)

Although I usual don't sell any of my Varium items I thought it would be cool if you could sell your seasonal rares back to the shop they were purchased from for a increased amount of sellback, mayb like 30-40%. Meaning like.....I bought Frostbane/Cryomancer/SkullFire last Christmas at george lowe and if I were to wait all year without selling it and waited for them to be re-released next Christmas and sold them back to George Lowe I would get a increased amount of sellback, catch my drift?

That would be cool.

How about the sellback value of your weapon increases for each year you have it?

edwardvulture -> RE: Seasonal Rare Sellbacks (9/23/2011 23:23:08)

I don't see a point in this and it would probably infuriate people that alreay sold their seasonals.

voidance -> RE: Seasonal Rare Sellbacks (9/23/2011 23:26:55)

Thats a poor excuse, you don't think people got mad after then introduced the 15% sellback after they done sold their Varium items?

zelemania -> RE: Seasonal Rare Sellbacks (9/24/2011 4:18:41)

I think enhancements should also increase the sellback... I've used 50k credits to enhance a weapon that I don't use anymore and the 7k sellback just wont cut it.

supermasivo -> RE: Seasonal Rare Sellbacks (9/24/2011 5:19:58)

I think the sellback price is ridiculous... i can spend near 2,000 varium on a weapon like a primary and when i sell they give me back like 200-300 varium and 6,000-8,000 credits? specially when the new weaps (varium or not) have more stats than ur varium one.

PivotalDisorder -> RE: Seasonal Rare Sellbacks (9/24/2011 7:16:06)

@Supermasivo: can you link the non varium weapons with more stats than the varium weapon of equal level please.
I spent over an hour looking through them all and I'd say its a complete myth perpetrated by those who wanna see the non-vars weak as hell.

also be grateful their is a sellback price at all. this isn't a car dealership.

supermasivo -> RE: Seasonal Rare Sellbacks (9/24/2011 10:05:33)

I can link u this: Irony Not equal but close, really close stats to variumed one.

PivotalDisorder -> RE: Seasonal Rare Sellbacks (9/24/2011 11:18:31)

wow you linked me the dictionary entry for irony and you don't even get it yourself :)

DeathGuard -> RE: Seasonal Rare Sellbacks (9/24/2011 11:21:50)

All weps should give more credits and varium sellback, not just seasonal rares.

Ya agree with this. I hate buying something then enhancing it, when 2-3 weeks later, there's going to be a better item with more stats on it.

Goony -> RE: Seasonal Rare Sellbacks (9/25/2011 13:34:10)

15% is a poor return anyway... I still have most of my varium weapons although it is becoming increasingly difficult to manage my bagspace!

The devs said that they would review the sellback % at some stage in the future, but unless the community reacts I doubt anything will be done.

One way to do it would be to base the sell back % on the rarity value that is used to calculate your rarity rating.

Still, the return is way too low especially since enhancements take so much varium!

Shadronica -> RE: Seasonal Rare Sellbacks (9/25/2011 18:45:14)

I have given up hope regarding giving us any added consideration regarding the sell back prices or anything which is varium related. [8D]

More to ED's detriment as I really don't think that they are in touch with the offerings from their competitors.

However, don't let me rain on your parade as without the voices of the community there would be no changes at all ;)
