Can ED be played on smartphone?

Calogero -> RE: Doubt (9/27/2011 9:35:14)

I believe it is not possible to play it on Smartphones due to the requirement of Flashplayer.
Might be wrong though.

Also Questions are best to be asked in the ' Questions and Answers ' Section of the Forum

Wind -> RE: Doubt (9/27/2011 9:38:08)

Hey nkc413

Well ED needs Adobe Flash to play it, and so that means Iphones can't play it. But android phones do have flash so yes it is possible, but it would be very laggy and very very slow. I myself have tried playing ED on my HTC Desire HD which is a Android and ED does load after i've chosen my server on my phone. It's because phones weren't really built to play online MMORPG's and therefore they're not powerful enough really.

So yes you can try but most likely you can't play on your phones because it'll be very slow and it will lag alot.

Also next time I suggest you you post your questions in the EpicDuel Q&A because your post is more like a question rather than a discussion topic. :)

Hope this answers your question.

It's not available to play Epic Duel on smartphone.. Tried it myself, didn't work. Due to Flash player as andy123 said.

well its not available for smartphone because it dont have adobe thats why but ipad,pad2,ipodtouch (whateve generation) or iphone works WHEN u buy a APP that cost $2.99 name CloudBrowse, whyen u download that you can play Ed there

Ranloth -> RE: Doubt (9/27/2011 12:05:39)

Guys, unless you can prove it via your own experience - your answers can be wrong.. -.-

Yes Android smartphones do work as I have one myself and tried all AE Games. Apple series is as reyes has said, BlackBerry is impossible as I did have one sometime ago (few months), and other phones without Flash obviously won't work.

Calogero -> RE: Doubt (9/27/2011 12:24:21)

I'm using a Vivaz, runs on Symbian and it has Flash on it, yet I'm unable to play EpicDuel on it.
I am able to play Dragonfable and Mechquest though.

Charfade -> RE: Doubt (9/27/2011 15:00:47)

I've got ED to load once on my Droid XD ... took forever to load and it was supper laggy.

So the simple answer is it can run on a droid... playing it is another story.

Now I'm not sure how a Windows 7 operating system on a tablet would run. If its a decent tablet I bet it could run on bare bone ugly settings. But I haven't the windows 7 tablets to test it out.

Wraith -> RE: Doubt (9/27/2011 15:35:16)

^Charfade ED runs VERY fast on Honeycomb OS which is Droid. I have a XOOM. IMO, its fast, but pressing stuff is a pain. Jabbing at it just scrolls the screen.

Stabilis -> RE: Doubt (9/27/2011 16:08:30)

Ya it runs on my Atrix Android I'll upload something later. BTW, not slow at all.

Charfade -> RE: Doubt (9/27/2011 16:44:42)

I haven't had a chance to play with the newer droids to know. Mine is about a year old. and I hear honeycomb is awesome XD

Mine is still 3G, so the newer 4G droid smartphones maybe able too do a lot better. ^_^

The Death Trap -> RE: Doubt (9/27/2011 16:54:59)

I bet 4g Phones should be able to play it if you can download Flash player

The Game -> RE: Doubt (9/27/2011 18:17:31)

Right. Let's use ED Q&A next time, please, for ED-related questions.
