thats because str BH got nerfed.
and IMO it wasn't
i seen str BH use more dex above the standard and they were doing fine.
to me it was like str BH's equal
and the fight would be decided on who went first or got the block. (thats how it always was when i fought BHs)

I've used 5 classes multiple times and they have almost always been strength builds.

^tech increases resistance and smoke, i've only been able to scrape by them due to their weak resistance. I say the balance team has to do something with agility only affecting you when you get attacked . They got to change that to have an offensive penalty.

str tac mercs will basically lower their str to str Bh standard (87-99)
to increase their defense which also fills the requirements of reroute and possibly hybrid
except because tac merc has hybrid. it will tank more than str BH.

TLMs also require less support than str BH because they dont have massacre

@GoldSlayer1: Your most likely right. I have little to no experience with STR Builds, mainly because of lack of good equips, so I can't argue with a STR Pro.

You've been playing a year longer than I have (or close enough), so I won't argue.

I respect anyone who has logic. Excluding the guy with HELO the BloodLust/Reroute OP Combo.

From what I can see, the balance changes are also going to impact on the Mercenary and Tech Mage classes as well. I have no doubt that the mercenary class is the most underpowered class at the moment and you are going to nerf it as well!!!

Why don't you change the structure of the skill set for tactical mercenaries? That is the problem... Tweaking skills is going to impact on other classes and cause more issues!

In fact why are there not individual skills for each class, Titan took a shortcut to implement the new classes and now it makes it so much harder to achieve balance!

I'm seeing mages with E armor will have difficulties with tech requirements. Hopefully the requirement is not so high.

^There isn't energy regain if you block.

Also why do you need to pay energy to regain energy anyways? Seems a bit odd :/

Well that is the biggest issue with balance at the moment, the skills are the most powerful attacks and take energy to make them work. Energy drain attacks work well against classes with no energy regeneration... I am playing as a mercenary, but am a huge tank with a massive surgical strike! A tactical mercenary could play the same strategy and be much better due to reroute!

So many balance issues, so few changes and very little to look forward too! At least I will be able to retrain quicker, so that I can work out that the class I am playing with is still a massive failure...

I remember how over-the-top players were with their house items when it was first introduced. Many cap players had so many credits to spare it was unimaginable what they would do with them all. Now credits are so valuable and important, having more reasonable credit house items will be fabulous. I also feel people will be more willing to spend it is reasonable and not effecting their game-play.

Since some players believe 15% energy gain is just fine for one class then any class that has an energy regain skill should only get 15% max to balance things out.

Put reroute at Level 2 which is 15% get hit with an EMP grenade that takes away 47 points of energy or the Atom Smasher that takes away 30 plus points of energy and get back to us and let us know 15% is just fine for the class.

^When did EMP take 47? I abused tech and only ended up at 40...and that was level 7 EMP. Back in Gamma. So no level scaling.
