My Epicduel journey has had its ups and downs since I created my account in late December 2009. I have had good and bad experiences, just like you would in real life, but sometimes it is best to ignore the haters and let them hate :P. I remember my first battle, someone told me to press f5 for varium! I didn't actually believe him, but I thought that the battle was really fun and I was starting to love this game! I ended up playing for hours that night, when I'd only expected to play for a few minutes. I saw the ad from the AQW website, so I thought I'd try this game although I expected to be something like WarpForce, but it ended up completely seducing me with its addictive gameplay :). I didn't really understand about 'builds' and 'stats', I thought it was a bit like AQW where you just had to unlock each skill, I didn't actually realise you could level up the skills themselves! The next day, I woke up in the morning, and I realised that I wanted to play some more Epicduel! I really wanted to unlock my super skill, supercharge. So yeah, that's how I started. The game sucked me in and I kept on wanting more and more :P. I've had many other great experiences too! I remember the old times at Oz world 8 where Xendran hated me, and there were all those people like AssadBlaze and LatinLover who were like the souls of the game (in the sense that they made it lively). I remember beating Titan at level 28 with the Beta Weapons; that gave me an extremely rewarding feeling! Compared to AQW, this game was new (I was proud to be a beta player), it was changing every week, it was challenging and the game was fun. Many people believe that the game got worse and worse and we progressed through each of the testing phases. That's true to some extent, although I still had some good experiences in those times. I remember attaining the rank of emperor. That was a really great moment for me, because I remember getting pwned by Fay Beee a long time ago, and I remember seeing her gorgeous Emperor emblem :p. Ever since I saw it, I had always wanted it but I never thought that I would ever actually become an emperor. Anyway, those are just a few experiences that I can remember, and I can say that it's been an interesting journey.
