sylar67 -> ignore chat ?? (in-fight) (10/11/2011 13:13:10)

i think this feature is really needed cz there are a lot of noobs that dont stop talking / begging for fame / calling you ( noob ..... ) if they kill you doing 10000 crits 10000 blocks and 10000 deflects :)

what do you think ?

PivotalDisorder -> RE: ignore chat ?? (in-fight) (10/11/2011 13:23:18)

Develop some thick skin on the internet ? just don't reply ? use some self control ?

sylar67 -> RE: ignore chat ?? (in-fight) (10/11/2011 13:33:01)

ill try to self control myself XD and start by ignoring you -.-"

PivotalDisorder -> RE: ignore chat ?? (in-fight) (10/11/2011 13:40:47)

yes, very mature.

I've seen your posts before anyway, you offer nothing.

Smackie El Frog -> RE: ignore chat ?? (in-fight) (10/11/2011 13:49:34)

@ Above

You posted twice without even trying to be remotely helpful. But, I agree with Sylar getting spammed with pm's when you are grinding can be a bit annoying. Having a feature like in AQW where you can turn them off would be pretty helpful.

Oba -> RE: ignore chat ?? (in-fight) (10/11/2011 13:53:28)

If anyone is immature is that you, psibertus. You come here on the forums and pretending to be a god damn God who always is right and perfect, without coming with anything good in respond... It would be great to be able to ignore people in a battle. These spammers is really annyoing, especially those who ask for free wins and those who keep insulting players. (Which happen really often in 2vs2 now adays.)

Dendavex -> RE: ignore chat ?? (in-fight) (10/11/2011 14:26:59)

Psibertus grow up you need maturity
I'd love to see ignore in battle cuz some people may get lucky and win and start calling you noob etc

PivotalDisorder -> RE: ignore chat ?? (in-fight) (10/11/2011 15:07:17)

I am always right, and If I wasn't I would admit I was wrong like pretty much everyone else [on the first part, most are too arrogant to admit they are wrong].
if it is a matter of opinion and you can't force me to say you are right, I am wrong ? lol some people really don't understand the concept of a forum.

I support the chat lock button, purely so people don't keep making topics about how they can't handle a tiny speech bubble online.

how can someone be helpful in this topic ? either you want the button or you don't. also he wasn't on about private messages, he was on about messages during combat, from your opponent or partner.

actually no. sorry. and I do contribute a lot to this forum. just you guys always jump on me when I single out a stupid post.

but hey, that was another stupid post I singled out, here comes the cavalry

Fay Beeee -> RE: ignore chat ?? (in-fight) (10/11/2011 15:07:41)

I wouldn't mind an ignore button in fights
BUT I want to know I am being ignored, or I would be chatting away to my self LOL

.Nikzat. -> RE: ignore chat ?? (in-fight) (10/11/2011 15:08:42)

The ''ignoring chatt feuture'' will never happen so dont even dream about it ;)

Stabilis -> RE: ignore chat ?? (in-fight) (10/11/2011 16:34:02)

Hey guys this thread is going to get locked for wrongfully jumping on Psibertus. Psibertus, you have power, so use it for the common good.

PumKing -> RE: ignore chat ?? (in-fight) (10/11/2011 16:43:45)

@psibertus- dude, I completly get what you mean, however, I sometimes think that the eronious chat can make the background to look rather garish with it interupting it, but I do like fay bee's idea, have an ignore all texted button, but let the other person know it's on so they don't keep on typing and wasting there own effort, it would personally give me some satisfaction to know that some imbeciles words can no longer reach my lofty seat of not caring *insert smug grin here*

veneeria -> RE: ignore chat ?? (in-fight) (10/11/2011 17:30:17)

@psibertus: there is a limit even to self control, don't get me wrong. But if there is an option to just ignore, would be really great. What i think that should come also is, aan auto message saying : "this player cannot read your messages" or something.

rej -> RE: ignore chat ?? (in-fight) (10/11/2011 18:53:31)

This has been an exellent suggestion that has been curculating for months of not years. unfortuneatly, for whatever reason, the dev's consider random, unreasonable nerfs to be higher priority at this time.

Stabilis -> RE: ignore chat ?? (in-fight) (10/11/2011 18:58:32)

I'm glad they took the time to reduce medic, not putting skill points into it and having one stat dependent should NOT give you easy skills.

LatinLover/Martini -> RE: ignore chat ?? (in-fight) (10/11/2011 19:14:11)

This suggestion was first mentioned in the original ED Forums, I miss so much :#.... but the fact of the matter just close your text and just read the white bubbles and ignore. Also flaming on here doesnt make you cool... take it from me. TRUST ME.

yeah I like the idea.

plasma devastator -> RE: ignore chat ?? (in-fight) (10/12/2011 4:46:51)

I would like an Ignore Chat in fight button cause today i was against some guy that keeps calling me bad stuff like "haxor" and "luckster" i just hate him. *Makes angry face* he has no idea that this game is largely based on luck

drinde -> RE: ignore chat ?? (in-fight) (10/12/2011 6:05:17)

This would be helpful cuz sometimes people talk, you decide to be civil and run out of time. Also for NPCs since the chat doesn't really do much.
