ally links for 2v2 would destroy the system. You basically pair up with the strongest player you know and dominate. 2 strength Tacticals on the same side in a 2v2? I don't think you could win. 2v2 is dying. Here are some key factors that need to be reviewed for it to work, in order of importance: 1:SMALLER LEVEL RANGE: I can't stress this enough, 5 levels is an enormous difference, especially 28-33. Whoever has the lowest level player is instantly at a disadvantage, and it's very difficult to come back from. 3 seems good. 2:EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENT: Any active 2v2er can tell you it's extremely frustrating going on, and finding your partner is not only weak, but under-equipped. 3:VARIUM/NON-VARIUM SEPARATION (partial): Yes, some of the greatest 2v2ers ever are non-varium, we all know who I'm talking about. Now, excluding very few exceptions, variums dominate 2v2 far more than they do 1v1. In a 1v1, at least it's a fair fight. The scales in a 2v2 are tipped by the amount of varium the opponent(s) has. I think it would be easier to do this: If a non-varium has a bad 2v2 record (50-%), he/she is separated from the main body, and given battles that are far easier. Sort of like a handicap. I understand how difficult it is to do so, but for the sake of 2v2, I feel it must be done. 4: LAG: If a player AFKs, or laggs out, is it possible to do something like... your partner controls your actions (not your account, simply your skills and moves), for the duration of the battle? I have no idea if that's feasible or not. These are the top 4, for me. If I read anything else important, I'll add it. On the juggernaut topic, this nerf seems to have... given the non-variums hope. I haven't juggernauted since the nerf, and don't plan on doing so (although I do have to reach 1000 juggernauts AND the achievement soon). I wonder how it will play out. So far it seems fine. @Lord Nub: Healing was a, if not the, largest problem in juggernaut/ 2v2. This debuff was to kill support tacts. It was overkill. If it presents a problem to the juggernauts, all the better. Oh, and guys, Skeletondude is no longer non-varium (although he was, so he's still really good.)
