So I was thinking. This is the only activable passive and it can be blocked. Maybe you could make it damage to them gives you EP but if you have say over 18-22 str it starts to lower just so str abusers don't get carried away. Or maybe have it an unblockable? Seems like a very OP skill, but, it is not really... Passive. What do you guys think? Discuss!

If it were unblockable, us cybers would have a tactical advantage over the opponents, seeing as we gain back mana AND deal damage at the same time.
Although I do agree, the rate at which static charge is blocked is EXTREMELY frustrating, seeing as it's the skill that wins us battles.

What about giving it a +25% chance to connect just like cheap shot has a 25% chance to crit? But assimilate would also need this buff cause it also gets blocked a lot.

Perhaps it should be like regain 45%(lv 1) of weapon damage when used. So even if it was blocked they would still gain... Or it should be like regain 75% of total damage- 50% of their defense or resis

I do not regard the skill as passive as it requires 'activation' to use in battle and has cooldown. Being an active skill, compensating the ability to regen energy for a normal strike is a fair deal, but what if players choose not to use strength? They will regen energy very slowly. This is not enjoyable and is why all CH have static charge maxed with some strength points. Healing is the only way to prevail because shadow arts is honestly not very useful.

CH is a tricky class that requires strategy to work around defence.

Locking this up. Please keep balance discussions in the Balance Discussions thread.
